“Love this place. Started going a month or so ago with my ol lady. The lady at the register is so nice and helpful, the cook knows his business for sure. I LOVE the portion sizes lol. Can't be beat for the price and quality of food. My lady usually gets rainbow rice and wonton soup, I usually go for the chicken and beef teriyaki with extra teriyaki sauce. They don't add potato as a filler in their teriyaki like most places, so i love that as well. I'm surprised it's not busier, but every time we go, we see them with a handful of online orders and pickup orders prepped.“

My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. “I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia“

“Stopped by on a Friday evening to order takeout. Place was popular and bustling. The teriyaki chicken was good, so we're the egg rolls which are large. First time customer but would like to come back to try other dishes. There 2 sushi chefs were very busy.“

“This restaurant/food stand in the mall is a great place to eat with your friends and family. But for me it a place where you get a lot of your protein because the dishes are basically 1 or 2 maybe 3 meat you choose and steamed rice or fried rice and veggies. It just a great place to eat after a workout.

“The Sushi House has wonderful bathrooms. I am also partial to the simplicity of it all. It's brightly decorated, fully serviced, and delicious.

Family-friendly and fast, Sushi House is the ideal choice.

The Pepper Tuna roll is to die for. I can confidently say that I have never had anything that didn't deserve a 5-Star rating at this establishment. I get Fried Gyoza, Miso Soup, Edamame, and 3 rolls. Be sure to ask your waitress if she has a new favorite and try that!

P.S - Aya is great for first dates or to treat your new mistress. Sushi House is for your wife and family.“

“I've been coming here for years, since it first opened, actually. They have always been the best and most consistent of the Happy T's, in my experience. The staff have always been friendly, the food tasty, and the restaurant clean and comfy. Sadly, the Froyo Machine saw its last...it will be missed. However, everything else remains in top form.“

The portions are massive and you will walk out either hating yourself and your choices or with leftovers for dinner. I wouldn't go out of way to come here but if imin the area ill stop again.“

“Stopped by while passing through and was pleasantly surprised. It looked like the owner was running the place by himself, taking orders and serving food, but everything still ran smoothly. You order and pay first, then sit down, which is a little different at first, but the service was still quick and efficient.

We ordered the chicken katsu and the spicy chicken teriyaki, and both were really good. The lunch menu prices were great too. I just wish I had taken a picture of the menu!“

“The chicken vermicelli bowl had fantastically fresh ingredients and the most perfectly cooked chicken I've had in my life.

I'm a home cook and foodie; and even at high-end restaurants, I've come to expect the chicken to be either over or under done—and that's because it's hard to get it JUST RIGHT. But the chicken in this bowl was perfect: no tough, dry exterior; no soft, underdone mushy center. It was consistently textured, moist, and flavorful the whole way through. I don't normally like Vietnamese food, and this dish blew me away. I'll definitely be going back to try more of the menu.“

Roommate likes the bigger menu and food but #3 is alot more relaxing. the remodel is nice but it seems to have cut least a 1/3 of seating guess you needed the added kitchen space 👍. I've been coming to this location since atleast 2013. when my family would come and get unlimited sushi for birthdays had a sake bomb aswell. today (04/25/21) I had the "Bad Girl" roll extremely yummy. also had the crab rangoons which were good aswell.“
