“This restaurant is in Tacoma's middle class area on Pacific Ave. We were a little apprehensive because of the aesthetics, but as we went in, a nice Lady leaving told us they had great food. They cleaned up a window table for us. Then brought us a I-pad to order, they want you to scan in there menu, I declined and received the I-pad. We saw reviews commenting on there Peking Duck and Chow fun Beef. We went for the Duck, Pork Hot & Sour Soup, House Special Fried Rice has shrimp and pork, the fresh Egg Rolls stuffed full of Shrimp were unbeatable. The Duck came with white flat pastry rolls with a nice tangy sauce and veggies, very good. Everything was cooked perfectly with special authentic style and taste. The Jasmine tea was wonderful. “Oh my gosh. The General Tso chicken was really fresh and delicious. I had two stars spiciness and it was just right. My wife who doesn't do spicy said the chicken was good. She had chicken pho and let me tell you that broth was the best we've ever had. Even the chicken had this char grilled flavor that takes it to the next level.“

I got the lunch special Chicken beef/ teriyaki
It came with a nice portion of rice and fresh salad. My wife ordered the chicken and gyoza meal that was delicious!
They have only raised their prices One time that I am aware of in the last few years even thru covid and it was not extreme like most of the other restaurants.
I would say i would have raised them more myself.
I fed my wife and myself for $25

“Do not know what some people are talking about, we had the Hot and Sour soup was the best we've had in many years then the Chinese peppered Pork Chops. OMG the best I've had in 26 years. This place is inviting and the food is great.“

“I was looking for a quick and affordable food spot nearby as my boyfriend and I were waiting for our groomer to get our dogs ready for a wedding. I definitely shouldn't have thought jajangmyeon as my first option but I was also super hungry and it was the cheapest thing on the menu, while I was also thinking it wouldn't take that long. Plus they were open early which was great as we were in the area around 10am! When we arrived, there was a older gentleman who greeted us then looked like he was prepping for the day. He can speak Korean and English just fine too. Once we were ready, we placed an order of jajangmyeon and egg rolls and he brought us out banchan. I did ask for more daikon but he seemed to have forgotten or maybe left as his daughter was there delivering food, tea and taking orders. She was a lot more attentive, she would check in on customers and was very friendly! Also it turns out that my boyfriend's friend who he has known since high school was that female employee, so for those saying the owners have changed, they have not.

There is plenty of seating at this food court as well as other options from sushi, Korean food and and this spot that serves Korean-Chinese food. The lighting here is a bit dark but it is light enough to take different photos. It's not too cold nor hot either. You can also leave your plates, utensils and trash on the table and someone will come get it.

The jajangmyeon was really good, I was surprised as I feel like there aren't too many places that have good jajangmyeon in Lakewood but I can say it is way better than the other places that serve in the area. I usually don't scoop up the sauce but it was actually really good. They offer kimchi, onion and daikon for their side dishes which I think is perfectly fine. They do offer refills and when I asked for more daikon, the kind female employee even gave me extra vinegar. My boyfriend said the egg roll was pretty good too. We look forward to coming back!“

“I was passing through town and needed to get a bite to eat. This place had good reviews so I thought I would try it. I have to admit when I pulled in the parking lot I was skeptical. I decided to try it anyway. When I walked in, I was pleased to see(and smell) the place was incredibly clean. I was seated by friendly staff right away. I got a bento box and a hand roll. Both were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this hidden gem.“

“This is the first time I came here. Got the General Taos Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein and an order of Crab Rangoons. The food was great, the only problem I saw was how much chicken was in the Chicken Lo Mein dish. There were maybe 8 pieces of chicken in it. But the portion sizes were good for the price and the lady who served us was friendly and the order was ready when I arrived. Overall not a bad experience here.“

“Heavens, I love this place! Beat sushi in Gig Harbor ! You have to try their ramen and sushi! I love rolls that are creative and have different flavors and I was soooo happy with everything we tried. The special roll has a hint of citrus and micro cilantro, the boom boom is huge with lots of fish, ahi tower was awesome… they were all delicious. I went back for the Ahi nachos. My daughter’s friend had ramen said it was great and my 16yo said this was her favorite place now. Definitely mine too. The price is great for the portions and quality of the ALL the food.

“Server was very accommodating given the fact that we got in right after the opening time. Kimchi dumpling is homemade and was very tasty. Black bean fried rice has a big portion. Spicy seafood noodle was good as well. After we finish, the lunch crowd all came at the same time. Food service was a bit on the slower side so you may want to plan for it.
