I tried to sneak in a special desert and was told the manager had already taken care of it on the house. Thank you all! It was his second night on the job. He was excellent! We started with the mozzarella caprese appetizer. It was delicious. For our main courses I had the cioppino and my husband had the filet. Both were excellent. For dessert I had the raspberry sorbet - very refreshing; my husband had the turtle brownie. Again both were excellent.“

The food was great (spiced Ahi Bowl, fish and chips) although the calamari appetizer was small and more tidbits than good sized pieces, the prices very reasonable and atmosphere unbeatable. Hopefully Anthony’s (the new corporate owners) leave them alone to operate to their true history!“

“I have never had pizza to go and went there tonight. The second I walked in Patrick, Danni and Giuseppe were so warm, welcoming and quite the comedians! They suggested a glass of wine while I waited for my pizza so I went and had a glass of wine. The bartender was just as amazing as them! First time eating here as a family, we were greeted immediately by our waiter Sean, and he pointed us to a table to sit.
He brought us tea and waters, and I was very patient as we looked over the menu, which they have a pretty large menu...
12 pot stickers came with the order, the while family liked their flavor, and I thought they were a good value for the price compared to other places in the area.
We were impressed with the hearty braised beef noodle soup and the orange chicken, highly recommend.
Sean warned us that the Szechuan beef and the Mongolian beef were very similar, and made a good suggestion of another dish, but we assured him we wanted to try both of them. He was right, and I would agree you shouldn't order those two side-by-side. The spicy chicken was a soup, and it was good, but we probably wouldn't order it again.
Atmosphere got knocked down a point because the booths and bathroom is in need of deep cleaning or replacement/remodel.
Everyone in the family is looking forward to a return visit to try some of the other items on the menu.“

It was very busy, peak hours, with a Christmas boat parade on the water going on and our server, Kendra, was incredible! She was kind, personable, attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable on the menu. And that was just the cherry on top. The food was delicious, great portions, and left us feeling satisfied. Such a great experience! We’ll definitely be back.“

“This restaurant is in Tacoma's middle class area on Pacific Ave. We were a little apprehensive because of the aesthetics, but as we went in, a nice Lady leaving told us they had great food. They cleaned up a window table for us. Then brought us a I-pad to order, they want you to scan in there menu, I declined and received the I-pad. We saw reviews commenting on there Peking Duck and Chow fun Beef. We went for the Duck, Pork Hot & Sour Soup, House Special Fried Rice has shrimp and pork, the fresh Egg Rolls stuffed full of Shrimp were unbeatable. The Duck came with white flat pastry rolls with a nice tangy sauce and veggies, very good. Everything was cooked perfectly with special authentic style and taste. The Jasmine tea was wonderful. The food wasn’t anything to write home about, but it wasn’t bad either; it was better than a joint like that needed to be. They seemed to be training a new employee, and he did great getting everything right. He double checked our orders and asked about things we’d already said…but again…neighborly vibes / slow pace, no pressure.“

It was amazing and flavorful.“

However, I was seated next to a booth with 3 VERY loud people who kept getting louder until it sounded like they were shouting (it was friendly talk, not arguing). I had already gotten my food, moving would have been difficult, so I just ate, trying to ignore the noise. I recently stopped in and was so impressed. I had the chance to chat with the owner, Serine (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly), and she was so kind, welcoming, and happy to answer all of my questions. You can really tell she cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does.
The restaurant was spotless, the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted fresh, and there are so many ways to customize your bowl, burrito, or salad. Don’t forget to grab a boba tea while you’re there!
It’s always great to find a local business that serves amazing food and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. IC Poke has definitely earned a new loyal customer, and it’s officially my new favorite poke spot!

“Loved the food! On our first trip, we had one of the suchi options, Chulichi shrimp, the ceviche trio, and mango margaritas. All of them were excellent, subtly spiced, and simply delicious. Yes, the music was a bit loud but it was manageable and did not prevent discussion at the table. Our waitress Clarita and bus-person David provided excellent recommendations and great service.
