“I had an amazing experience at Willamette Valley Vineyards in Vancouver! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening out. The staff is absolutely incredible—Linde, Morgan, Jeffery, Logan, Dietrich, Kathy, Reid, Thomas, and Kyle all went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience so enjoyable by sharing great pairing suggestions and details about the wines. The wine selection is top-notch, especially the Pinot Noir and Estate Rosé, which were outstanding. The food menu is just as impressive—the small plates and flatbreads pair beautifully with the wine flights. I’ve seen when the owner’s find a shot brewed substandard; they’ve dumped it at their own cost in favor of getting it right. It’s a small thing, but it says a lot. “Great food, loved the omelette and the home style potatoes are AMAZING. Only complaint is that if you're there with a larger party (more than two) and are all paying separately, be prepared to either all have cash, or one or two people cover the check as they only allow two cards ran per table. This should be posted where people can see it BEFORE they order. We ran into this issue while dining in with coworkers. Ordinarily it's not a huge issue- but if you're in travel status and using per diem it can be quite annoying. Otherwise, the restaurant is great.“

“This food truck is a national treasure. The portions are massive and insanely delicious. I have not had cat fish this good since leaving the south. The cakes were moist and rich without being overly sweet and the gouda lasagna was fantastic. All hail Kriseys Kitchen - I will follow her to any pod she resides in. “We love Crave and have gone there several times. The mac and cheese is beyond great. We love the pasta they use, and the sauce is amazing. I always have extra to take home too. Not your grandma's grilled cheese is another favorite. I personally don't understand the bad reviews. It has been so great every time we go we have been completely satisfied and have told management several times. Compared to a lot of places and fast food at the same prices, it is a no-brainer. “I looked at the reviews online and pictures of the food, and that’s what made me come to this restaurant. I was not disappointed. I had the corned beef, hash and eggs. My first time out and it was delicious. The eggs were done just as I asked the hashbrowns were tasty and they even had homemade bread for toast. The waitresses are very casual and very friendly and I will definitely be back.“

“I am gluten free and found this place on my Find Me GF app. This was absolutely the best GF Breakfast I've ever had!!! The waffle was thick and perfectly cooked and came with not a pad of ice cold butter, but a large bowl of MELTED butter to pour over the waffle. That along with smuckers sugar free syrup...it was phenomenal! Also ordered slice of ham and they also gave me 4 strips of bacon too! I recommend highlty!“

This is the type of establishment that you don't find anymore - like Cheers where everyone knows your name - where customer service matters and people actually enjoy what they do.

I am not familiar with the Vancouver area and called this place off a recommendation from a customer. I needed a large order completed on a certain day and at a time that was within a half hour of them opening so wasn't sure they could accommodate me. I called a few weeks in advance and the person who answered the phone took my information down, said she would pass it along to the manager, and to call a couple days before I needed the order and the manager (Jersey) would take care of it. I'm OCD and put it on my calendar to call - Jersey answered and said was just walking back to actually call ME to place the order (oh, and that she was the same and had it on her calendar too). If you bring in food for customers or a large group often you know how often things can or do go wrong, so then you also know just how RARE this is to hear. Showed up after a 3 hour drive, pizzas were done on time and they thought of everything from utensils, etc down to extra dressing for people who like it on their pizza. AMAZING! Thank you Jersey, Topanga (bartender working that morning) and the Uptown team for making my lunch for 40+ people such an amazing and stress free experience!

I already know the pizza is good but I'll be back since I hear the wine selection is top tier with wines sourced from all over that are rare and hard to find.

P.S. Did I mention they also let me borrow warming bags? Topanga actually looked surprised when I brought them back! Haha!“

“We had breakfast at Paul's this morning; excellent! While retaining it's vintage atmosphere, the food has clearly been brought into the made-fresh category. My better half had the fried chicken, I had the Green Goddess omelet with a side of pork sausage, both meals were prepared perfectly, tasted very nice and served flawlessly. Our server Lois was a delight! We'll definitely be back!“

After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).“
