Starbucks in Vancouver

“I went to the Starbucks on 4th Plain in Vancouver few times already and honestly every visit has been pretty nice. The store itself feels very welcoming, with warm lighting and plenty of tables, not too cramped like some other coffee shops I’ve been to. The staff there always greet me with a smile even when they are super busy, and that makes a big difference. I ordered my usual iced caramel macchiato a couple times, and they always get it right – the balance of espresso and sweetness is just perfect. One time they even remade my drink without me asking just because they thought the first shot of espresso was off, which I really appreciated.

The place is usually clean, the tables wiped down quick after customers leave, and the bathroom is actually kept in good shape, which isn’t always the case at chain stores. I’ve also noticed they have a lot of regulars coming in, which tells me people feel comfortable hanging out there. I like bringing my laptop and sitting for an hour or two, the WiFi is reliable and the vibe is relaxed enough to get some work done.

Parking can be a little tricky at peak hours since the lot is shared with other shops, but honestly it’s worth circling once or twice because the service inside makes up for it. Overall I’d say this Starbucks is one of the best in Vancouver. Friendly baristas, good drinks, clean environment, and just a nice energy that keeps me coming back.“

“This is our neighborhood Starbucks when we visited Camas. The staff is very friendly and Sarah is always helpful. They have a very busy drive thru but the lobby is comfortable and usually has seats available. There's a nice little outside section in the spring and summer. Great service!

Vegetarian options: You can find veggie options.

Parking: They have a shared lot with plenty of spaces. It can be busy.

“Not gonna lie, there have been occasional issues with my orders from time to time. Usually it’s the espresso missing, or I ordered something iced and received a hot drink. However, the customer service here is unmatched. I hate having to ask for a redo and usually avoid it because I know how overwhelming it can be in a busy environment, but I feel comfortable doing it here because they always handle it with care and make it right!“

“Opposite, this location of Starbies! Ever since they had the automated plain brewed coffee machine serviced a couple of weeks ago, the temperature of the coffee that comes out now is not that hot! They must have set the top temperature lower. If hot coffee doesn't come out when It is supposed to be actually hot, you need to recalibrate the machines, please! Please check on the temperature of the automated brewed coffee maker!“

“I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but after seeing a few negative ones, I felt it was important to share my experience. I’m a daily Starbucks customer, and this location is my home base. I travel often for work, and this is genuinely one of the best Starbucks locations I’ve visited. The staff and management are awesome. Special shout-out to Shelby for always getting it right and doing so with a smile. Don’t believe everything you read, many of the negative comments seem to stem from self-induced issues where the blame is misplaced. Stop by for yourself and enjoy the awesomeness! “I just want to thank you guys so much. I had ordered a Starbucks at a different location and halfway on the way to my destination. I realized it was almond milk and not coconut milk. I brought it into your location and no questions asked you remade it for me. That's what I call customer service! Thank you so much!“

“The barista that took my order was patient and kind when explaining a new product to me. Unfortunately, the Barista making my frozen beverage got tied up with a counter customer and did not have his colleague finish the drink. It was more melty than I would have preferred. To his credit he offered to remake the drink. I hate to waste so I did not take him up on his offer.“

“There was a person singing loudly at the next table. I moved tables so I could try and concentrate on my paperwork but it was just too loud. The person appeared to be intoxicated or in their own little world for some reason but they were not asked to quiet down or leave.“

“Absolutely love this location and the people who keep it going! They’re a great team that’s always working together and hustling to get the job done. I frequently see the manager walking around the back checking in with employees, making sure things are being done correctly, and assisting with tasks when needed. It’s very impressive to see a team work so well these days. They’re also very friendly with my autistic son, and understanding that he might have outbursts while waiting that he cannot control. As a parent of a neurodivergent child I cannot express how much that can mean and help during a rough time. We are, and will continue to be, back often - thanks!“

“Usually the grocery store Starbucks locations aren't as good as the actual stand-alone stores, but this is one of the better ones I've been inside. The barista who helped me knew what she was doing and accommodated my "half-sweet" request for a vanilla latte easily. Their selection of pastries is also pretty decent.“

“The staff at this Starbucks is very friendly, and it’s conveniently located just a 4-minute detour from the highway. It stays open until 11:30 PM, which is perfect for late-night travelers. After a tiring day at the Cascade Shopping Mall, we sought coffee to help us through a 3-hour drive. This Starbucks is one of the few between Portland and Washington that stays open late and is easily accessible from the highway.“

“I made an online order, so on my lunch break I could stop to get a coffee. However when I came in my drink was made hot and not iced. After talking to one of the baristas, she remade my order and not only did it right but upgraded my drink and threw in a cake pop for the inconvenience. Very kind staff, that works to make it right!!!“

Anytime I come to this location, the Baristas always have such a great positive attitude except for one barista who happened to be working with Heather at this mornings shift. She also had no name tag. She is always so rude when taking orders, very confrontational, and crass. I thought it was just me, but this morning I went out of my way to ask the customer after me if she felt the same way about this particular barista. The other customer agreed with me that this specific barista with no name tag has horrible customer service, and was rude to her when taking her order as well. She should not be working in customer service if she can not be polite to all customers. Thank you to the other baristas, Heather, Sam and the other two girls with tattoos, you guys rock! You are the reason I keep frequenting this location. Thank you for all that you do! It makes a world of a difference in what is already a trying time for everyone. I appreciate you.“

“I really find every employee at this location to be perfectly wonderful, but I can’t help but seem to notice the flavors of the drinks/syrup has been vastly reduced while the price for a Chai Tea has risen to $7.50 before tax. I am upset with the company, not with this location or any employees.
Starbucks continues to increase their profits and revenue while raising the prices in a poverty stricken economy. I doubt their store employees have seen a 20% raise in wages to match the 20% increase in price…“

“Took my two-year-old in there real quickly to get a latte after Fred Meyers. She liked the music and danced a little dance the whole time we were there. The people behind the counters clapped for her after a longer session. She was very upset when it was time to leave. They all very nicely said goodbye to her. I'd go back.“

“I hope this is the right target, and I usually don’t leave reviews but I had a great experience here many times! The barista who helped me yesterday was extremely kind and patient, and they even offered to remake my vanilla bean creme frappe another time because I had asked for oat milk, so it wasn’t the same consistency as with real milk. The frappe was super good ! And the barista exhibited exemplary customer service and offered a memorable experience.
