“Great beer selection, but poor service from weird/hipster bartenders. Walked past me and my empty glass 6 times before asking if I wanted another beer.“

“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!“

“Very tasty chicken with a variety of sauces, and the highlight of this place imo is the radicchio salad! Also patatas bravas. The place is small and the seating is limited, but it’s usually not crowded. Good date spot.
Parking: Had to park around the block“

“I'm a local who had never been. We had a group of 5 from out of town for business, one person with a few different allergies. This was a perfect place for the group. We were greeted warmly and genuinely by the host. The person with allergies was extremely well attended to, without any attitude. The staff was proactive in communicating with them, while still attending to the entire table. Our food was excellent. The two favorites were the Brussels sprouts (cooked perfectly!) and vegan paella (flavorful!). The décor and ambience overall are inviting and energetic. We had no trouble hearing each other at the table, and we were near the kitchen window. Will for sure go back again, especially with visitors.“
“First time in Portland and the Hyatt House was an excellent choice of hotel for me.The location by the River was relaxing, as well as, the well maintained pool. Very friendly and helpful staff, this hotel has it all, a nice hot breakfast, a Bar, a pool and is in a great location. Would stay again!“

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.“

“Amazing Dinner at Plumb @ Deadshot!
We had the pleasure of dining at Plumb inside of Deadshot one evening about a month ago with friends visiting from out of town, and it was a truly memorable experience. The highlight of the meal for me was the pork chop--perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The appetizers were fresh and absolutely delicious, a great start to the meal. We ordered three and they were more than plenty for all five of us to get our food journey started. The selection of alcoholic beverages was awesome, and each drink complemented the dishes perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy yet inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed but special evening. Our waiter was attentive, answered all of our questions knowledgeably with enthusiasm and timely. We'll definitely be back!“

“I love this place if it was in my neighborhood I would be there once a week! It’s so good. The food is delicious. Not your typical pub food, and it’s a wonderful relaxed lounge scene there with great music and cocktails, and even a good NA list“

“Thank you Firehouse team for making our wedding day go perfectly! We booked out the entire restaurant for the day, so we were able to decorate and get ready starting at 11am. With our 42 guests, we held the ceremony in the patio out front, then had dinner upstairs and the dance party downstairs. The food was incredible and we heard so many compliments about it from our guests. Working with the events manager (Alec) was great with his quick responses, flexibility, suggestions, day-of coordination, and DJ-ing!!“

“Last night was my second time dining at Andina. The atmosphere enchants me. Three levels of absolute gorgeous charm. I love the banquet rooms on upper and lower floors. All three levels full with gorgeous plants as if to take me back to Peru. The architectural layout is very pretty. The live music on Saturday evenings were pleasant to hear, soothing, vocals, flute, guitar. I lived in Urubamba and certainly feel the nostalgia when I step inside. 5 stars for atmosphere. I do think the entrees are a bit on the salty side as for both my visits I chose different dishes and experience with the salty food was similar. Service was great on both occasions, we were sat in dining area first visit and requested the bar for our second visit. I liked the bar better.“

“First time walking through rather than past the door of R&R tonight, and what an absolute treat! Small, but well formed bar with a great drinks menu, and super friendly staff. Will check out the food next time (there will most definitely be a next time). The resident(?)/guest(?) DJ was on fire, and we could have so easily spent the rest of our evening enjoying the whole R&R vibe, had we not had dinner plans. A real NW treasure, and the new #1 in our local bar hit list.“

“We visited Can Font on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant is beautiful inside. The food was authentic Spanish food and offered many options. Everything we ordered was delicious: Paella negra, Patatas bravas, Beet salad, Grilled octopus and delicious desserts such as cheesecake, arroz con leche and chocolate cake. My only suggestion is that they widen their beer selection to include Spanish brands like Estrella de Galicia, Mahou, Ambar (to name a few). Lastly, the service was not as good, maybe because it was a busy night, but I feel they should have foreseen this and planned accordingly. Will definitely return.“
“I was looking for a spot to sit and chill for an hour or two at PDX close to my gate. Vino Volo was great, I think I had some kind of pesto ham/grilled cheese sandwich that was pretty tasty, and some very good wine. I wanted a private quieter spot so I chose one in the back corner of the place, which was great, but they had other comfier looking lounge chairs out near the front. They had a decent playlist of music that reminded me of some songs I haven't heard of in years and a few others I had to look up to add to my playlists. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Good spot to relax for a while in this corner of PDX!“
“This is a snazzy bar, located right off the lobby of the Aloft! The colorful LED lighting and pulsing music make it seem like a fun place to grab a drink, and maybe strike up a conversation with folks passing through Portland. Although we are locals who live quite close by, I could see my wife and I coming here to grab a cocktail some evening when the neighborhood dive bars are just not cutting it for us, and we're not feeling up to heading into downtown. Gonna have to come back and check it out sometime soon, but as far as ambiance goes, it looks like a winner!“

“A gem! Excellent service, excellent food! Stayed at the Dossier Hotel and came across this really awesome spot at the hotel. I can definitely recommend the fried gnocchi, lemmon pound cake, blistered green beans and the chicken sandwich. Has an amazing dining experience thanks to Amanda and James who provided excellent service to make the meal even more enjoyable.“

“As a solo diner I’m always happy when there is bar seating as I was able to be seated quickly on a busy night.
Aiden made me a very delicious cocktail, called a wooly muffler, that was so perfectly balanced.
The pork chop was juicy and so delicious and paired well with the onions and mashed sweet potatoes“

“The poutine was just OK. They need to add pocked 9 ions and pickled jalapenos as standard and allow you to take them off if you don't like them. Also, the best poutine I have had has braised beef or pulled pork or some sort of meat to balance all the flavors.
The beer was very good. I tried their reserve stuff and their bourbon barrel aged beer and they were pretty good - all of them.“
