“I'm disappointed to see you getting involved in the disinformation campaign on Mcgillivray (not close to your restaurant) that a loud minority is calling "Save Our Streets." The campaign is biased against people who need to (or choose to) get around by methods other than cars. And it drowns out the neighborhood voices that have been following the process for input that the city set up.“

One time, I ordered food online, but when I arrived, the cart was unexpectedly closed. To my surprise, my money was refunded promptly without me even having to ask, it was such a thoughtful gesture! The food is always incredible, and the beef pad thai is hands down my favorite.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Thai Orchid. We came as a group of 4 for dinner. We were promptly greeted and sat, then immediately asked for drinks or appetizers. The atmosphere of the building is very cozy while also keeping the rustic brick and open ceiling aesthetic. We shared a few of the noodle and rice dishes and they were delicious. The dishes were warm and flavorful. Everyone also ordered sushi rolls as well. All the food came very quickly and all together. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu, and gluten free accomodations were known. We plan to come back again many times.

“Kind people, excellent service, and the flavor profile of the Thai was unlike any that I've had in years! The shrimp salad rolls were fresh, flavorful, and herbal. The tom kha with chicken had flavors that uppity don't get from a recipe off the internet, the broth slow-cooked and blended to perfection, and 3 kinds of mushroom! i seriously had to just sit there with the soup bowl in my hands and marvel at the flavors in my mouth. The drunken noodles with beef were also really tasty, cooked to perfection on all counts. Oh! and they were willing to accommodate coconut milk in the Thai iced teas in lieu of cream. We've got dairy- sensitive tummies, so that was much appreciated. We're definitely going back again. Soon, i hope!“

“Delicious, fast service and attentive staff. Ordered pineapple fried rice with tofu and Thai fried rice with tofu. The Thai fried rice had a fishy flavor. Maybe oyster sauce? It was all good.

“I had Pad Ki Mao Beef which was very delicious. Thick rice noodles with tender beef. I love spicy food and this was just right amount of spicyness for me. The food and atmosphere were both good, but there were several fruit flies near our table. I also spotted a long hair and some food debris on a chair.“

It’s reasonably priced, it tastes as expected, and it’s quick & convenient with nice staff - especially the woman who works the front. Some of these reviews are written as if they expected 5 star accommodations you’d expect out of an unpriced menu. Friendly advice: never travel with these types of people. It’s a grab-n-go restaurant in the mall. 5 stars for their category of business.“
