Everything was authentic from Italy. The meats, sauce and bread ingredients were spectacular. The drinks were perfect. Lots of customized options. Very clean local produce. “Andrew Will makes some of the finest wines around. The winery iteself is beautifully tucked away in central Vashon. If you're coming for a visit, I'd suggest planning to do so in the late Spring or early Summer when the weather is more ideal. The owners are extremely nice and they are wonderful members of our community on Vashon. You can find their wines @ Thriftway!”

“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!”

Being an east coaster, this place is the closest your gonna get to a Boston or New York pizzaria. Stop in and get a huge slice and a tonic. The atmosphere is also spot on!
Old style and good vibes all the way around.

“The coffee is fabulous, and I would absolutely go back.
We had the bacon, and the veggie breakfast burrito. Lots of rice, not fully cooked. Only one slice of bacon, and not a very strong bacon flavor. Pretty bland. Would not do these again.”

Definitely one of our favorite coffees, been getting Pollard for a while now and it has never disappointed 😄 We always get compliments back when we gift Pollard coffee and their customer service is awesome! “I came in a few minutes after they opened and I was greeted with smiles! My server, Lillian, was very nice and the fish & chips were probably some of the best I've ever had (super crunchy and the slaw is yummy!). Will definitely be visiting here again when I pop back over to the island next time.”
