“Excellent service from Elizabeth! She was so friendly and attentive! I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Don’t skip out on the banana pudding and a big thank you to management and the cooks who help keep the place running smooth!“

“My family and I love this place. It is a fast, tasty, reliable fave when we need a filling meal but can't or don't want to cook. We've gotten take out from L&L and brought it to Logan Brewing in Burien who lets you BYO food when you come to enjoy their beers and ciders. Sometimes I'll stop by after work just for a musubi (the bbq chicken one is my fave!) if I need something to hold me over til I cook dinner.
I recently ordered party platters for a holiday get together and the food was delicious and plentiful. L&L even gave me a full large bottle of sweet chili sauce for our lumpia - so awesome! I definitely recommend this spot for picking up catering or an easy meal.“

“Do not know what some people are talking about, we had the Hot and Sour soup was the best we've had in many years then the Chinese peppered Pork Chops. OMG the best I've had in 26 years. This place is inviting and the food is great.“

“We purchased a lot of food for our Christmas dinner. I was supposed to pick it up on Christmas Eve and I got so busy, I actually forgot. At 6 o’clock it hit me that I forgot to pick up my food by five. I called the store. No one answered so I got in my car and drove down here hoping maybe somebody would still be in the store maybe shutting down for the night although they closed at five. When I tell you I pulled up and someone came out to meet me and said I’m so glad you came. I was worried you wouldn’t get your food. One of the staff members waited around and was going to wait until I remembered to get my food. When I tell you, I was humbled and emotional that someone would wait around on their own holiday to make sure my family had food made me feel something I hadn’t felt in a long time. We live in this fast pace, high-tech world, where we forget the humanity of people. We forgot that we belong to a community and that it is our responsibility to care for one another. This stranger cared so much and even put my families meal above his own holiday. I apologize profusely and he wouldn’t hear of it. It was a beautiful human moment that made me realize what the holidays are actually about. We shook hands and I wished him a Merry Christmas. This is a small, family owned, black-owned business and they reflect the integrity, the care and the quality that goes into our food in our culture. I will be loyal for the rest of my life. The meal was impeccable and we still talk about it. We use Jones barbecue for our parties, our holidays, Super Bowl; everything. It’s hard as a small business to make it and stay alive so we need people to support this incredible family own business. They have been around since 1989. You will not be disappointed.“
