“This is for the McDonald’s on Broadway and Sullivan. Idk if he is new seems like I have only seen him recently in the last month or two but his name is Blaine and he is very nice always so pleasant willing to go above and beyond and just actually seems happy to help you unlike some of the other employees that work there. I have 3 kids so I’m at McDonald’s a lot actually every Thursday we get take out and of course my kids always pick McDonald’s and I’m always happy when I seen Blaine bring out our food my 4 year old always asks him what his name is and he doesn’t just ignore him like most… he actually engages with him and makes him feel heard! Keep it up Blaine!“

But this past weekend on Sunday morning around 9-10 am, I had my friends visiting in town and we ordered breakfast here, I understand it can be annoying because putting together the breakfast takes more time. With that being said I was very understanding and apologetic, but even with this there was microwave door slamming and eye rolls while the food was being made. I would say maybe call ahead of time if you are ordering multiple sandwiches and breakfast items to try and avoid this. It was probably just a one-off situation but I figured it was worth taking note of.“

“There are so many bakeries and coffee shops out there—but this one is one in a million. From the second we walked in, the barista (Christine) greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly. It felt almost like meeting an old friend who was really excited to see you again. There are tons of fresh baked goods the owners make themselves (wow!) and the coffee is roasted by the owners too. There’s also tons of seating. We got bagels and Christine whipped them up quickly for us, while simultaneously taking care of other customers’ orders and greeting people in line and taking their orders. We were there for an hour and the place was hopping. She was so cheerful and caring towards each customer that came in—even the rude and demanding ones (which isn’t easy!). This is a great place with good coffee and plenty of delicious baked goods—but experiencing this outstanding customer service makes it shine above all the others. We’d love to stop by again next time we’re out here! Christine, you should win an award for most cheerful barista in Washington state!“

“Love Dutch Bros! I'm moving across the country from the Midwest to the west coast and I love the variety choices of drinks! Never tried Dutch Bros, but have heard soooo many good things!! The baristas were super sweet and had such positive energy and recommended a few good sweets for the road as well! 10/10 would visit again!“

I typically go for the mermaid water Madhatter (that's what I'm holding in the picture), recently I decided to try the matcha tea and really love it. My kiddo loves the Italian sodas. Wheelchair accessibility: City of Spokane Valley or Starbucks did not complete the sidewalk or walkway. No problem if you come by car to the parking lot or come from the neighborhood to the south but extremely difficult for wheelchairs and support walkers if you come by city bus or the neighborhood to the north.“

“I love this coffee. I drank a ton of the signature blend at Ruby River Hotel while in Spokane for a work trip, and it was one of my favorite flavors of the trip! The hotel brewed it fresh all day long. I ordered a bunch from the website to be able to brew it at home. Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely going to make time to stop by a cafe and stock up. “Had mutiple good experienceas with this location. Sometimes the drinks aren't as flavorful as others but the staff are very sweet. They tend to make sure lines go fast which is pretty cool. They also have a walk up for pedestrians which is pretty cool.“

“Compared to other Starbucks the sandwiches and coffee just weren't as good at this location as at others, which was a little upsetting with how expensive Starbucks has become nowadays. Still a good location and decent food, but not up to par with other locations. Great service though and I can't complain about the store itself.“

“Today when I went to pay for groceries I couldn't find my credit card. I quickly traced my steps back to my car and when I came back into the store. An employee had seen me hurry out and was waiting for me. She asked if I had lost my credit card and showed me my card. Becky was a huge help to me. I had been very stressed out when I couldn't find my card. She bagged my groceries and took the to the car for me. That was a treat I usually do that myself. We showed up, added more people, pushed tables together—you name it—and they still kept the smiles coming. Everything came out hot, fresh, and so good we were all fighting over the leftovers.
