“This is for the McDonald’s on Broadway and Sullivan. Idk if he is new seems like I have only seen him recently in the last month or two but his name is Blaine and he is very nice always so pleasant willing to go above and beyond and just actually seems happy to help you unlike some of the other employees that work there. I have 3 kids so I’m at McDonald’s a lot actually every Thursday we get take out and of course my kids always pick McDonald’s and I’m always happy when I seen Blaine bring out our food my 4 year old always asks him what his name is and he doesn’t just ignore him like most… he actually engages with him and makes him feel heard! Keep it up Blaine!“

“I love going to this Wake Up Call, whether I'm walking up or driving up, the staff is always amazing! I typically go for the mermaid water Madhatter (that's what I'm holding in the picture), recently I decided to try the matcha tea and really love it. My kiddo loves the Italian sodas. My doggo loves the pup cups.“

Wheelchair accessibility: City of Spokane Valley or Starbucks did not complete the sidewalk or walkway. No problem if you come by car to the parking lot or come from the neighborhood to the south but extremely difficult for wheelchairs and support walkers if you come by city bus or the neighborhood to the north.“

“Great place . Broke down there and they invited me and have a water or whatever I wanted. So I went and had coffee and a doughnut and it was very good. Very nice place I mite not have found it if I had not broke down. I will definitely go there again.“

“I’m still leaving a higher star review because I love this place and come at least 2-3 times a week!
But this past weekend on Sunday morning around 9-10 am, I had my friends visiting in town and we ordered breakfast here, I understand it can be annoying because putting together the breakfast takes more time. With that being said I was very understanding and apologetic, but even with this there was microwave door slamming and eye rolls while the food was being made. I would say maybe call ahead of time if you are ordering multiple sandwiches and breakfast items to try and avoid this. It was probably just a one-off situation but I figured it was worth taking note of.“

“There are so many bakeries and coffee shops out there—but this one is one in a million. From the second we walked in, the barista (Christine) greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly. It felt almost like meeting an old friend who was really excited to see you again. There are tons of fresh baked goods the owners make themselves (wow!) and the coffee is roasted by the owners too. There’s also tons of seating. We got bagels and Christine whipped them up quickly for us, while simultaneously taking care of other customers’ orders and greeting people in line and taking their orders. We were there for an hour and the place was hopping. She was so cheerful and caring towards each customer that came in—even the rude and demanding ones (which isn’t easy!). This is a great place with good coffee and plenty of delicious baked goods—but experiencing this outstanding customer service makes it shine above all the others. We’d love to stop by again next time we’re out here! Christine, you should win an award for most cheerful barista in Washington state!“

“I love this coffee. I drank a ton of the signature blend at Ruby River Hotel while in Spokane for a work trip, and it was one of my favorite flavors of the trip!
