“So I like to ride my motorcycle out to Twin Perks Kalama and this Saturday I brought a friend. his motorcycle battery caught fire in the drive thru of the espresso stand! Hailey was working and she catered to us so well. I'm not advertising you should break down at the espresso stand but if you have to, pray Hailey is working. She was extraordinarily accommodating to us. She was helpful, sympathetic, and charming. I wish I could adequately convey how grateful I am to have met Hailey. “This is legitimately my favorite pizza in Oregon. If I am in St. Helens for any reason, I'm eating here. The pizzas are absolutely loaded with toppings. The individual pizzas are perfect for a quick lunch. I always have leftovers, and that's saying something because I can put it away! Everyone is always helpful and friendly. I tell all of my coworkers about this place if they ever end up have to be in St. Helens (we're based in Hillsboro but travel quite often). I highly recommend this place. Get the Heartburn!!“

“My friend and I drove 26 miles Christmas Day to have a late lunch. First time for her on Christmas. We were waited on immediately and helped my friend find what would be best diabetic diet. We had lighting fast food delivery. Wonderful experience all around. And they were very busy but we had no complaints.“

“Phone in order of 2 piece halibut and chips with a cup of clam chowder. Chowder was good. I normally really like their halibut, but it wasn't seasoned and I had to season it when I got home. I was also astonished at the increase in price. They dont have an updated working website and you have to depend on menu pictures taken in the past. My order came to $39.34. Over $10 more than the menus online. They didn't even tell me the total when I placed the order. The girl at the window at pick up was nice and asked if I still wanted my order. I felt obligated to take it because told me how expensive the cost of the halibut was this year. I want to support local businesses, but its important to list the prices when accepting phone in orders. This used to be my favorite fish and chips spot. Didn't even come with very many fries.“

“Ahles Point Cabin is a few hundred yards from the McMennamins Kalama hotel. Small but charming, we enjoyed a fire bowl on the patio watching large freighter ships going upriver. Limited menu, but good bar options. Monica was delightful bartender and chef, making us feel glad we went. Surprised they are not equipped for coffee, but guessing Mickey M's figure if they cannot offer full service coffee, then no coffee at all.“
