“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and there were a ton of cars in the parking lot. Walker accessible. We had pot roast grilled cheese with a side of horseradish and au jus and a Cuban sandwich- mustard spicy and delicious. Service was fast, food hot. Casual pub dining. Good dessert options, but we didn't have room. Large portions Gambling machines a plus- we will be back.“

“2nd time there with college friends. Fantastic both times. Had the Twisted Pear Burger. Med rare as ordered (they asked!). Loved the gorgonzola cheese and fig jam. Get the cheese curds too. Fresh, hot and gooey. Lisa was our server both times. Even tho she was slammed with a full bar and big party in the back, she made sure we were happy. Great place in a tiny town. Go!“

“New favorite! I have been here twice this week! I ate double bowls of pulled pork chili and now the vegetable lasagna soup. The soups are homemade and delicious. The side salad is fresh and crisp with great salad dressing choices, and the homemade cookies are tasty. Everything is reasonably priced too! Tastes like good homemade food with tons of flavor. Highly recommend!“

The food was fantastic, good price for the amount of food you get, super friendly owner/staff, large and clean dining area, clean parking lot, overall a great experience. “Employee Jack brought my order out to my car for my mobile order and he was the most kind and respectful worker I have seen at this location. He greets you with a hello and a smile, and reads off your order to make sure that everything is correct. Very impressed with his customer service skills and genuine kindness! Definitely deserves a raise or a promotion!!!“

“I recently had lunch at the Bread and Bean Eatery. Cute place, great atmosphere, no problem with the service. The food is consistently good, however, on this visit I have to admit being a bit disappointed. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It is served with your choice of roll and chips. When it arrived at my table, it was mushy chicken salad (no chunks of chicken), on a pale but edible roll, and chips. No color on the plate, all white, fairly unappetizing. No lettuce or tomato on the bun. A table mate had soup and half a chicken salad sandwich. Her sandwich looked wonderful - including lettuce and tomato. The sandwich did not taste bad but I don't think I'd order it again.“

“The broasted chicken is very very good and moist, the burgers flavor taste like the charcoal flavor which is very good. I wish they would serve american cheese for the burgers, not the cheddar cheese. Very happy with the restaurant and the food“

“The prime rib is fantastic, incredibly tender and flavorful. All the food was amazing and it didn't take too long to come out on a busy Saturday night. I highly recommend the carrot cake, it has to be the second best I have had. Definitely worth a visit.“

“So...1st (but NOT last) time here. The food was absolutely top notch. My husband & I split the Reuben melt Special & 2 sides (poppers & onion rings). I asked for some horseradish & Mayo on the side, so I could mix up the reuben sauce that I prefer. The staff was awesome & had no problem accommodating my request. The sandwich was one of THE BEST Reubens that I have ever had. We both had a cocktail with dinner, & they were also crafted to perfection. Compliments to the chef! The view of the sun setting over the lake was a stunning pink/orange perfection. The restaurant is receiving some upgrades, which they hope to have completed for the summer season. Can't wait to( and plan to) go back! Highly recommend you stop & check this little gem out!Parking: Maybe about 14-20 parking spots, & then some available along the road.Wheelchair accessibility: You could wheel a w/c down & into the restaurant.“

“Super but with my team for lunch here. One of the male worker asked what I wanted to drink right away as I walked in and I received my drink right away. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and the gyro. Food was good. Service was really good there from the waiter and their team. Got our food in a timely manner too, didn’t wait too long being there was four of us. I’m going to order the cream of potatoes next time because that looked really good too.I drive past this place for 15 years but never stopped by to eat here. Glad that I had a chance to finally experience the place and will definitely go back.“

“Had the pizza. It was delicious..good crust and flavors. Previous visits we had waygu burger, pork chops sandwich; cheeseburgers , onion rings, sour cream and onion ring fries. All excellent. Fish specials also great. Family run, friendly, reasonably priced with a great atmosphere. Can be hard to get to with nearby construction, but worth the drive .“

The only reason I give it a four-star rating is that it's a bit outdated, but that's part of the ambience. And the night we were there, they we short-staffed - they kindly told us so (what place isn't these days) - it took nearly 40 minutes for our meals to come out. We enjoyed our wait-time consuming some tasty beverages while we waited ?“

A comfortable place, where’s there’s a Tuesday afternoon sheepshead game. Local neighborhood bar that’s a welcoming stop for people from out of town too. PS her 100+ year old wall fridge is awesome!“

“We stopped on a Friday night. I had the seafood combo with German potato salad. The potato salad was the star of the dish, it was the best I have ever had. I wish they sold this in large to go containers, it was that good!! The fish and shrimp were also good. I would have liked a little less batter, but it was still good. My boyfriend had the ribeye with potatoes and veggies. He loved it all! Nice portions of food for a decent price. The only down side was the service was a bit slow. We will still be back though. We don't mind waiting for good food.“

“My girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner on the way to Harrington Beach state park. The food was really, really good. Large portions, very hot, and very tasty. We chatted with the owner for a while and he was friendly and welcoming. A must-stop if you're in Belgium.“

“The staff was surprised we arrived without a reservation, and worked with us to set up a lane with a 1 hour limit. This limit was set despite 7 of the 16 lanes being open close to the end of that hour.Prices are reasonable for bowling, but the staff might be a bit curt and don't plan on ordering food quickly or cheaply. For example, a 16 inch cheese pizza will set you back $14 before tax.“
