For entrees the flat iron steak over a red pepper potato mash was incredible and the kind of dish that you come back for again and again. Service as always was incredibly friendly.“

“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! The dry rubs and wet sauces are all specially prepared and are very good!The rest of the menu, along with the weekly specials, are all great value and prepared with fresh ingredients and care by the Garden Inn chefs, Tammy and Will.Service at the bar is great. “My wife and I recently visited Oconomowoc, we found Maxim's restaurant which was the old train depot for the town, the service, and food was delicious and presented well, lots of healthy choices, Maxim's is our official daily eaterie!!! Prices were very fair!!“

“Came in by myself for an early breakfast, sat at the bar and ordered a coffee, two eggs, hashbrown and bacon along with a pancake on the side. Everything came out really fast, and the pancake with the crispy edges flapping over the side of the plate was amazing. The prices were very reasonable as well . Will be back again.“

“I met an old friend at Perc's for lunch. During the week and there was plenty of room to just drop in. The menu is big, the service was fast. We never had to flag anyone for water or coffee in fact I had to stop the refills and I like coffee! We'll be back because it's hard to imagine ever getting unfavorable service they were just so well buttoned up“

“This is a step up from your typical bar and grill. Menu has a bit of an old school supper club feel to it. Staff seem experienced and well-trained. Everyone was working hard. Cozy feel to the bar seating area, but the ambiance in the separate dining room is a bit lacking. Thankfully, it offers extra seating space on a busy weekend night. I'm somewhere between 3-4 stars. “My partner and I went for fishy fry at Bryant's as part of our quest to try out different fish fry's in the area. We got fried cod with potato pancakes. The tartar sauce was very flavorful and complemented the fish well. Additionally, the potato pancakes and cole slaw were also very good. The cole slaw had pineapple incorporated in it, which really elevated the flavor and (as someone who doesn't normally get fish fry for the slaw) was a very welcome change from the regular fish fry ensemble.We will definitely be coming back. We did speak to the owner while he checked on our table, who said that the fish fry will be served all year round. We think that's a good thing as it is our new favorite fish fry!“

“Gem in Lake Country. This is a review of the casual menu. Tuesday-Thursday they have a Happy Hour special from 4:30-6:00, half off all drinks, including the big steins of beer. Live music in the lounge Dec-Mar and then the patio starting in May. We enjoyed a very tasty and juicy orange roughy sandwich and a chicken pesto wrap. Both were delicious and more than we could eat.“

“Overall fun course. The 'Dude's Clubhouse' has great food and drink selections upstairs and bar room downstairs. The pro shop and check-in is behind the clubhouse, it offers a great selection of all golfing needs and enjoyment. The practice putting green is in-between the pro shop and clubhouse which is pretty much in the way of everyone coming and going. The driving range is off left of the first tee, anything goes left off Hole 1 and you are probably SOL finding it while dodging people practicing. The Tee-Boxes overall are flat and not too beat up. With no obvious stakes marking distances, having a gps/rangefinder or finding one of the Sprinkler covers for the yardage is a mist. Challenging undulating fairways deceive the eye on a few holes giving the appearance of an object or the green being closer than it really is. The fairway and greenside bunkers add another level danger as they take no prisoners. Smaller than expected greens on some of the par 4 and 5's demand an on-line iron or wedge shot in. The Par 3's have the largest greens and are inviting to take on the flag, even #17 over the tree. Overall a fun course that is inviting for the long hitter and accurate wedge players. The other thing to note is the cart girl showing up on 6/9 holes on the Front and 0/9 holes on the back 9... from a business standpoint, make sure the cart girl is serving everyone out there on the entire course, especially with it always being hot every single summer of history and the "Absolutely No Carry-On Policy"“

I usually am petty wary of places with a huge varied menu, but Amalia's surprised me with the delicious meal. Price including tip was $130. When Sobies first opened it was a mid-price restaurant. It migrated to premium price unless you like french fries with gravy on them. It still is the best restaurant in Oconomowoc.“

“Went in with a party of 5 and 1 high chair. I had the all you can eat fried fish fry with tator tots. The fish is amazing, with great taste and great crisp. My choice of tator tots was also amazing, great crisp on them also. We sat upstairs where the fish tank was great entertainment for our little one that was with. We love eating and playing games at Mineshaft. Highly recommended!!! Great food and great drinks!!“

“The bakery is incredible (especially the cinnamon rolls) and their unique coffees are excellent with new flavors weekly to try.They have been afflicted by staffing issues as many small businesses have which has affected service a couple times, but the product and owner have sunk their heart into the product and it shows.It’s awesome.“
