“Good food Friendly atmosphere”

“The bowling allies may be gone, but the food is as good as ever. Their thin crust pizza is made to perfection, and their batter fried mushrooms are all too uncommon. Dine in is superb as well as the staff knows what I want esp in regards to beer. Easily the best pizza in South La Crosse.”

“Java vino employees are unfailingly helpful and polite. They are cheerful, happy people who clearly enjoy their job! It lifts my spirit to spend time there. My young grandaughters feel the same way! The food is excellent, the coffee wonderful, but we come back because of the staff!!!! Keep smiling!”

“The most pleasant dining experience. We were down the street visiting our father at the Gundersen Medical Center & broke away for a quick lunch. The menu was big & the food was delicious (get the cheesecake) but most of all our waitress had the most amazing sense of humor. She treated us to some much needed laughs while we enjoyed our lunch including a special note on the to go container that included our Mom’s lunch. It still has me chuckling. Would definitely visit again.”

“We were there on a Tuesday night as a recommendation from a friend. The place was comfortably busy with some tables available and standing room only at the bar. I ordered the Bison Special and it was delicious. The new chef is fantastic and the service was exemplary. Food came out exactly as specified and timely. I strong recommend eating here- I suspect on a Friday you’d want to call ahead they probably get busy.”

“The food and service is great! The staff is welcoming and friendly. The Pork Chop and 8 oz. Tenderloin were tender and flavorful. When we most recently dined there, Vicki was the chef and the meat was cooked perfectly! I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“We have been coming to this restaurant for about 3 years and the food usually has wonderful flavoring. Tonight we all were disappointed. No flavoring to the ground beef. Tastes just like cooked hamburger. The steak Mexicano had no flavoring and didn't seemed to be merinated. The quacomole was green and thin. This will not keep us from coming back. We will come back and try again. We did discuss this with the owner and he said thank you and he would check into it.”

“Passing through town & always love trying a new Supper Club! Rocky’s was top notch! There was a 45 minute wait, which gave us ample time to enjoy a couple of Old Fashions & take in the ambience of a small town crowd! The 2 bartenders were on it! Once seated, was amazing to watch 2 waitresses, 2 bus people & the hostess, serve the dining room flawlessly!! Both the famous cheese curds & fish fry were scrumptious, fresh, piping hot!! Have not eaten out anywhere in a long time where we have had this kind of meal & service!! Thank you & kudos to all! Highly recommend!!”

“great size horseshoe style bar. with additional seating. you'll spend 20 minutes or so to get seated because this place is so popular. Great salad bar, excellent steak and seafood. Everytime im here the food is excellent and I appreciate the consistency. Excellent service from the bartender to the hostess and waitstaff.”
