“1st time. Not disappointed. Bucket list changed to you betcha we’re coming back. It’s not always about the food. Dining with strangers, can be annoying. Not here. The bar and dining folks were of a polite, fun and energized style. Owner randomly picked our table and became the foundation of us wanting to,return. Had a great conversation. The servers need a higher measure. They all set the most pleasant tone haven’t seen in years. Wish I had been able to get here sooner. You will definitely find a menu item that fits your taste. “Absolutely amazing first experience. My wife and I had an early dinner there. We had the crab cakes and calamari ( today's daily appetizer special) as appetizer. Absolutely incredible. Great sauces and flavor combinations. Layers of flavor. We ordered the ribeye and the crusted flounder ( another special). The ribeye was juicy, depths of flavor, tender. Topped with sautéed mushrooms and haystack onions. Cooked to perfection. And the au jus was spectacular and tied everything together so well. Au gratin potatoes were a perfect pairing. Even the carrots made you say "wow". The flounder was light and had great flavors. Homemade honey Dijon tartar was a perfect match for the flounder. Oddly enough, the cucumber and tomato salad that topped the fish really tied it all together and made for one amazing bite. Even though we were stuffed, we left just enough room to have dessert.. As someone who is not a dessert fan, their homemade peach cobbler pastry with homemade cinnamon ice cream ( another special) was fantastic. Katie, our server was extremely kind and attentive and her input on dishes was very much appreciated. The fact that the servers get to try daily specials, you can watch the chefs prepare the meal if you sit at the "bar" by the kitchen, and the laughter coming from the kitchen, really iced the cake! “I go here for a networking lunch regularly. I've never had a bad experience or meal. I do not know what they do to the creamed corn but it's magic. There's a balance of flavors I can't replicate. I've literally never had a bad offering there and I've had almost everything. The servers are also spot on. Go there!“

“My partner and I were on an overnight to the Milwaukee area and stopped in here for breakfast. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant layout was open and airy. We were greeted and seated promptly, and coffee and water appeared before we even had a chance to ask for it. We ordered our meals, and to our surprise our food arrives within minutes, even on a busy weekend morning. The food was delicious, and the server brought us some sort of cinnamon cake that was also amazing.
We don't travel through that area often, but Maxim's is now our go-to spot!“

Obviously she was too engrossed in a regulars conversation. got up and left. Did we miss something? Certainly not service. The Phoenix across the street definitely wins. We came to Uncle Larry’s bc a few people in our party had NEVER had FRIED CHEESE CURDS! They were great!! “So got to share this I had used a delivery service to order food from Sweet Dreams yesterday. Anyway somehow through the process things got messed up and I didn't get everything I ordered. I had ordered a few extra things cause my birthday is coming up this month and I love their food
Anyway I was very disappointed and a bit upset. So I messaged both the delivery service and Sweet Dreams, not really expecting to hear back. I didn't want anything but hoped that Amy telling would make them aware, so these issues could save others from having to go through it. And as expected delivery service did not respond. And to my surprise Sweet Dreams did and more surprise I received my meal and extra.
So even though I already brag the place up to family, friends, and new people.
Now I want the world to know how wonderful the people at Sweet Dreams and the food is great, especially onion rings and mushrooms.

I come to this location pretty often, maybe a bit too much lol and they always get everything 100% correct and have fantastic service. Today they went above and beyond. “Sawmill is one of my all time favorite places to come after church. The food is always amazing, the holiday decor is wonderful and is always a great experience, until today... Unfortunately, the waitress "T" was absolutely awful, she was rude and should really find a new profession not dealing with people. I would hope it was just a bad day for her, but she ruined our experience. We have never left a $0 tip and that should tell management that she needs a chat. Still great food and atmosphere. We'll be back, but will not ever have her again! God Bless Oh and a different waitress had a packer shirt that says "I love it when he goes deep". After a recent visit, I accidentally left behind an important package i bought from Holy Hill church(a 2hrs drive from where we live). Not only did the staff find it but they went above and beyond by safely shipping it back to me. Their honesty, care and professionalism truly touch me. Karaoke on Friday nights pulls in a crowd, and is entertaining most times. There is a enclosed outdoor smoking lounge area that has heat and seating which is a nice feature if you are a smoker. Overall a comfortable place to relax and have a few drinks.“

“This establishment is located in the basement of the American Legion. We were greeted warmly by the bartender and sat down to look over the menu at a 4 top table. The bartender took our food order and within 10 minutes all four of our lunches were brought out piping hot and delicious!! Definitely will be returning to try a fish fry and possibly a pizza!“
