“Literally the best filet of my life! You have ruined all other steaks for me 😜 The garlic butter on top made it even more amazing. “I tried this restaurant in support of “Black Restaurant Week”, I got the Beef Brisket meal, the Brisket, Brisket Baked Beans & the Greens were all good, but I didn’t like the fat around the edges of the Brisket, (not a lot of fat overall though which was good), & there could have been more barbecue sauce on the meat, & the side dish portions were way too small for a $17 meal, & the wife/owner could have been friendlier in our brief interaction, the husband/owner was more personable……I would try them out again & maybe try the Brisket Sandwich.“

This is a family business that has been in this exact spot for generations. You have to try the BBQ.. I love the Philly cheese.

“The pork chop was excellent! I liked that it was served with Gnocchi and not rice or a normally cooked potato. I sampled a bourbon drink and it was so good. Too much sugar if you have diabetes like my partner. Haha“

“Doc's is the best smoked meat in Milwaukee. The portions are satisfying. They have 4+types of sauces. The fries are seasoned just right!! I had a hiccup on a take out order and I called to let them know. The manager was courteous respectful and made it right on another visit. I love the fried pickles. “Excellent, excellent, excellent. 10/10 for everything except the owners. They are 12/10! Great food, absolutely welcoming and charming. Don’t be lolo like me and wait too long—head to Ono Kine Grindz wiki wiki! It was our Valentine’s Day date-I had the chicken/pork combo plate with carrot pineapple slaw and macaroni salad, my husband has the Hawaiian breakfast. Excellent all around—the POG juice leveled it up even more. I love this place, and I am gladly adding it to my favorites/must haves when we get visitors.“

“Went here on a very busy Saturday night and had the best experience with our waitress Victoria! Our wait time was 1hr longer than we were told but the service from Victoria made it worth it. She made sure our drinks were always full and our food came out fast and CORRECT! If you get her as a waitress consider yourself lucky.“

“Went there for a work happy hour with about 15 coworkers and was amazed at the service Samantha (Sam) provided. She was always quick and willing to top off our drinks, she even made some homemade lemonade for one of the guys. She was also amazing at engaging with us and keeping the energy high. Such a great time that should bring us back soon“

“I've had their brisket mac bowl and chicken sandwich, both were delicious. The brisket was smoked just right and melted in your mouth. Added some hickory smoked BBQ sauce and that put it over the top. Their chicken sandwich was just as delicious. The seasoning and taste was phenomenal and their house sauce has a nice blend of smokey and sweet with a slight bite at the end. It accentuated the chicken very well. And their portions are definitely worth the price. I will be going back multiple times that's for sure.“
