The house egg roll was one of the best I've had! We also enjoyed their shrimp fried rice, general tso's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. We will be back- so happy to have found our new favorite place!“

The service was great and ambiance of the small restaurant is open and welcoming. I was very close to climbing the ropes at the entryway. Fresh Poke, however, lacked a little in a few crucial areas. The inability to discern between the regular and large portion sizes. Fresh Fin is still a top-notch poke restaurant. It is a respectable option for poke lovers due to the high quality of the ingredients and the flavors offered.“

The sushi varietals were outstanding, service was very good, enjoyable contemporary ambience, and noise level was moderate. Pricing was a bit high, as we've come to expect in the Third Ward. The Brewers sushi burritos, Dragon rolls, Dumplings, Spicy Tuna & boba tea are my favs, but really everything on the menu is great.I'm also very picky with seaweed wraps, because some places have hard to chew & overly textured. I don't have that problem at Modern Maki! Their shrimp is always so tasty & crispy in the Dragon rolls, that it could be one of my favorite shrimps ever. But probably my absolute favorite thing about this place is the rice in the sushi! It's always made for perfection. So soft & magnificent.I highly recommend!“

It’s been my go to, but today I did notice the price was $3 more than what was marketed on their chalkboard.Grab a meal to go, stay at their bar, or take it upstairs. You can park in the public market and get a free 1 hour voucher as long as you save your receipt.“
