“Stopped in for supper on Friday night. It was close to 8:30 by the time we got there. We both had the deep fried cod. It was outstanding !! Still had the salad bar full, fish was lightly breaded and great service as usual !! Great food and drinks. Highly recommend the prime rib on Saturday night as well. 😋😋“

The staff was amazing with our waitress being kind and courteous, as well as prompt with service. The menu is rather eclectic with various options, so there is something for everyone. “I was at the DeForest Culver in DeForest, WI, for a meet & greet date. The front end of the store where you ordered food was clean & orderly. Employees all had proper uniforms & were clean. The order taker was friendly & greeted us with a pleasant smile. Our food was ordered w/o incident. The soda fountain was clean, & all soda dispensers’ were in working order & clean. Ample lids & condiments were in their designation. Once again, clean & orderly. When the server was bringing our order out, it turned out to have the incorrect order number on it. After walking around trying to find our table, the server asked what we ordered? It was our food. The food was still hot & we enjoyed the meal. Four stars were given due to the mix up of the order number & delay of receiving our order.

The sitting area had several tables that were yet to be cleaned. As I was sitting down at a table, I noticed a special needs individual. He came out & started to clean off the table & sweep the floor. He was also talking to himself loudly.The individual would come up on our table with the broom where we would have to lift our feet due to the broom being taken under our feet. He was also talking to himself; of which, we didn’t care until it was vocalized quite loud right beside us. This, would interfere in our conversation(s). He made it a point to stay & clean right next to us. Very distracting. This is why I gave the “Atmosphere,”three stars.

To sum up our visit, the meals came out suitable, even with the incorrect order number; of course, fresh.The distraction of the employee in the seating area was a bit hindering. I wouldn’t expect it any other way from Culver’s. All-in-all, the meet & great, the food turned out good & a clean Culver’s made an excellent evening. I would highly recommend the DeForest Culver’s. “On this fine morning, December 22, 2024, I got news that my grandmother does not have much longer to live. The oncologist told us that it’s no longer benign. And that my beloved grandmother will not be with us much longer. I just visited her this night and through all the tears all the sorrows we said our goodbyes. I could not find the ray of light to make my day better yet as I was driving back home a blue flicker caught in my eye. As I pulled into the driveway of the Culver’s I thought to myself “I need something to make me feel better.” When I when I approached the counter, I was greeted by the most energetic, charismatic, and professional crew member I’ve ever met. Gabie met me with an enthusiasm I’ve never experienced for the financial transaction that was about to take place. As I looked up at the board, looking through all of the options to indulge myself in tonight, I asked Gabie “What’s your favorite option on a sad day?” She proceeded to enlighten me by saying the “Culver’s deluxe double with bacon, no tomato, no onion, no lettuce is my personal favorite” in which, for second, I felt a joy return to my soul. I looked up at Gabie with a flicker in my eye. I knew that this meal could turn my day around as if it were a Christmas miracle. I finally felt happy again. As I approached the booth in which I would be dining in tonight, I looked out the window across the way looking at the Kwik Trip thinking about all of the past experiences I’ve had with my grandmother, and yet it didn’t phase me, promptly , my food came to me. I looked at it. The blue tray filled with my entrée of fries and a delicious butter burger with no lettuce, no tomato or onion and of course, a chocky milkshake when I tell you, every second of this meal was filled with euphoria I mean it. I went from an all-time low, to one of the happiest moments in my entire life. Mr. Craig Culver and Gabie at the point of service. I would like to reach out my upmost respect and thankfulness for the opportunity of happiness given to me tonight on this historic day, December 22, 2024 have a great new year guys“

“You can usually count on Culver's and the worst I can say is that I got a burger quickly thrown together, barely wrapped, with the wrong add-on during a snow storm once. The fact that people showed up to work and there were still a fair amount of customers says something. The service is spotty, people often complain about the parking lots and I don't care for the atmosohere inside, but it could depend on where you go and how young you are.“

“The skipper burger on a GLUTEN-FREE bun is A++++! The ground beef was perfectly seasoned, and grilled to acomes with warm freshly homemade deep-fried chips that are also spectacular! The total was $13.49. Would we eat here 3x a week if they had delivery, we live a mile away.My only caution, & the reason I rated the atmosphere four stars was because the Tuesday night bingo was a bad experience for our family.

“If you want an all American tasty burger and the best root beer soda on the planet A&W is our #1 choice the hamburger meat tastes way better than the Culver's butter burger we go to both places regularly and A&W just has a better taste of an all American hamburger and cheeseburger in our opinion and the employees at the Deforest location are always super friendly it never fails it's a great place with great employees and management!“
