“Had lunch with my Mom today and cannot say enough good things about this place!! I’m still thinking about the smash sliders 🤤 you can really taste the quality of ingredients and the love that is put into the food. We also had a side of truffle fries which were amazing as well. Perfectly crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside! Plus that garlic aioli to dip in is tasty! I also tried a bite of my daughter’s grilled cheese and even that is elevated! Perfectly toasted fresh bread and thick layer of melty cheese! So good! We finished off with a slice of their chocolate almond cheesecake which was the perfect ending to an outstanding lunch. The staff was also very pleasant. We will definitely be back time and time again! 10/10“

“My band and I make a kind of home of Trempealeau Hotel. We love playing and staying there. The food is top notch, the staff is warm and welcoming. The surrounding area is beautiful (you can walk along the river or go hiking on trails nearby). It’s a special place, and good people are called there.“

Cat Daddy's is a must-stop if you want a classic Wisconsin small-town bar experience. It's named 'Cat Daddy's' for catfish, not Dads that love cats, and their catfish sandwich takes a delicious, minimalist approach: nothing but a grilled bun (!), a catfish fillet, some lettuce, and tartar sauce. 100% will eat again! “We stopped here on the way through town. The food was original, a tad unconventional but great. The clam chowder was tasty and chunkier than usual, if you like veggies - you'll love it. The baked cheese curds were to die for. The fish dishes and sandwiches were huge and delectable - especially with the sauce and coleslaw it came with. The back room with the river view was awesome, and definitely made it worth it - even if the lunch was on the spendy side. Service was friendly and helpful, just a tad on the slow side, but it was the busy lunch time. Would definitely recommend and will stop here again!“

“What a great neighborhood bar! Drinks are cheap and the patrons are friendly. Ordered pizza from a pizza place and they delivered it right to the bar. The bartender supplied us with paper plates and napkins! I would think about moving to Winona for this bar and the donuts“

“We celebrated our Mom's 90th birthday in the private dining room - Sullivan's was FABULOUS to work with, the food was extraordinary and Morgan handled our group of 20 with ease (she was a delight!). We came in early to decorate and whatever we needed (another table, cloth, vacuum, etc.) they responded with a smile! We even enjoyed cocktails/beer while we prepped. “The chicken Alfredo was really dry. I had to ask for more Alfredo sauce to choke it down. they charged $2.50 for about 1/4 cup, which they did reverse the charge after asking about it. The duck wontons were delicious and worth it to order again in the future!“
