If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't it. There's other options in Elkhart Lake As others mentioned, the staff was working hard. It was a Saturday night and it was busy, but not full. Service was slow, but not because anyone was slow. They are just understaffed and there wasn't a seasoned person around The food was Ok at best and is smaller portions. We had a large table reserved here for a Friday night to celebrate my birthday as we stayed at this hotel over the weekend. The food was terrible - the cheese curds were beyond oily and soggy and the salmon was over cooked. The wedge salad was ok.

The appetizers at Concourse might be my favorite thing that I ate! I like to enjoy little tastes of a lot of food, and that's what I was able to do with some of the appetizers here. I tried the firecracker shrimp (amazing breading), the Italian meatballs (swimming in wonderfully tomatoey sauce), and another appetizer that I didn't catch the name of but I devoured anyway.
