“This brewery has so many great choices! I often do the tasting since I like to try their new offerings but if I do a pint it's usually the peanut butter porter which is my favorite. Staff is friendly and tasting room is pleasant. Nice gift shop also!“

The Hive Taproom Brewery • $$
W2463 County Rd ES, East Troy - 9.79 miles

“We were really impressed by how much we loved the mead! This isn't your standard mead - it's not high ABV and super sweet - it's bubbly, light, and refreshing (and gluten free). It reminded us of cider we had in France! So, so good. The service was wonderful and so friendly - the bartender Ellie explained the meads and poured us samples before we settled on a flight. They have a gorgeous interior with a stage for live music, but it was nice out so we enjoyed our drinks on the patio. We took home some mead to go! We'll definitely be back.“

“First time we've had a chance to stop in, but glad we did! The place was full at 5:00pm on Saturday. Nice selection of craft beers and a selection of bar food. Cute place and real good beer, only issue was price per cup was pretty high.“

“Visiting East Troy Brewery with my husband JC was like finding a new favorite spot where the vibe is just as good as the food.We dove into a menu packed with some real hearty eats that hit the spot just right.Starting with the wings – oh, boy, were they a hit. Just the right amount of crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with sauces that had us licking our fingers clean. Whether you're a BBQ fan or a buffalo lover, these wings have got you covered. Then there was the Pork Belly BLT. This isn't your run-of-the-mill sandwich; it's a thick, juicy piece of pork belly with all the BLT fixings. It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you think, "This is why I love bacon."The White Truffle Pear Pizza was something special. It's not every day you see those ingredients together on a pizza in Wisconsin, but man, does it work. It's got this fancy taste without being too out there – a real nice change-up from the usual. Can't forget about the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Even if you’re not usually a fan, these could change your mind. They're sweet, they're garlicky, and they've got this truffle aioli that just brings it all home. The Cheese Curds were spot on – beer-battered and served with some seriously good dipping sauces. It's like they knew exactly what we were craving before we even walked in.Ending with the Fish Fry, because no Wisconsin review is complete without one. This beer-battered cod was just how you want it – crispy on the outside, flaky and light on the inside. And those potato pancakes on the side? Just like grandma used to make. All in all, East Troy Brewery feels like it's right at home here in Wisconsin. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy some really good food, and just have a great time with good company. JC and I are already planning our next visit back.“
