“My husband and I visited this restaurant during our trip to Milwaukee while traveling from Southern California. We stopped by on a Thursday night, and there was over an hour wait. We noticed that guests with reservations were being seated, so reservations are definitely recommended. We decided to sit in the bar area, which still gave us access to the full menu. I really appreciated that they have their own farm and grow their own produce. We ordered two mains: the pork belly and a pretzel-crusted veal dish. We also had the beet salad with goat cheese, absolutely delicious! Overall, the food was excellent, and we’d happily go back!“

I had #16! The white rice and beans, with the chicharrones, a thinly cut steak, a sausage chorizo, salad, plantains, and a taste of the yuca frita. OH MY OH MY OH MY!!! “I had a great experience at this establishment. The owner greeted me at the door with a smile. The server also greeted me with a smile. They sat me down and explained the special menu and the regular menu. I figured out what I wanted. I love that they have wheat pancakes. I got blueberry. The eggs were perfectly scrambled soft and that cheese pull was amazing. Everything about that breakfast was great. Gave me the itis. It was sooooo good. 1000/10!“

Prime rib sandwich is pillow soft, so flavorful and satisfying. Great garlic and herb butter seasoning on everything. I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. Love it and can't wait to go back!!!“

“I only order the "Jalapeno Popper" from Mac's in Brookfield. Over half the time I order it they don't put in any jalapenos or they put in next to none. How hard is it to properly make this dish? It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? After the 3rd order it happened I brought it back. The manager stated, I quote, "There are jalapenos all up in there" while pointing to two small pieces in the ENTIRE DISH. Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.“

“Amazing hidden gem. The building has to be one of the oldest in the area. Food is soup, salads, and sandwiches, but all unique and very tasty. Only difficulty is the hours, they are only open until 2pm. Highly recommend checking out this quaint little local restaurant.“

“We really loved our experience at Highlands Cafe today. We’ve never had a bad experience or food, but today was particularly exceptional as it was the first time we brought our boys (2 years and 11 months). We had promised our 2 year old ice cream with breakfast as where we were originally going to go, they have malts. Much to our surprise they were closed, cue the toddler meltdown 🫠 Highlands cafe to save the day! No wait, they made a “special ice cream drink” right away for our 2 year old (chocolate milk with whip cream and sprinkles) and he could not have been more happy. The food was excellent to boot! “Can't speak to the other reviews. Staff are friendly, food is excellent, service was quick. We have been trying to find great fish frys around the area, and this is one of the best. The pieces are thick, soft but don't crumble apart and the tartar sauce has a great homemade flavor you don't find in a lot of places. Potato pancakes are THE best we have come across. Seasoned perfect with that onion/chive taste but eat like a great hashbrown. Colesaw was a light white dressing with a lemon/vinegary taste.

Well worth the visit. We look forward to coming back other nights to try the rest of their menu.

We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! “George Webb’s is one of the truest last forms of what I like to call a “Burger Joint”. We started coming to the Franklin location when we moved here about 12 years ago. My son, who’s autistic, quickly took to Beth and she’s well know in this house and his fave waitress. The staff is always a pleasure to converse with and they treat their guests as if they’re family. “Tried the BLVD Royale Burger, and it was perfect! Juicy, flavorful patty cooked just right, with a soft yet sturdy bun. The frizzled onions added a great crunch, and everything was well-balanced. Had some Micheladas, and they were spot on. Great service, perfect food temperature—definitely coming back!“
