“We stopped here on the last day of our trip to Door County (Sunday). We searched for a coffee shop nearby after going to Julie’s for breakfast. The Apple Spice Latte was WAY better than Starbucks! We also got some dark chocolates for my mom (she hasn’t tried them yet). They wrapped them up nicely. A cute little shop that I definitely recommend!”
“We recently took a n adult mini kid free romantic getaway during off season and it was perfect! The king jacuzzi suite was the most cozy romantic room & was absolutely adorable! Everyone was so kind and there were still some places open to enjoy the town. So peaceful and quiet! We’re officially waking this an annual trip❤️”

“Cute café for healthy breakfast & brunch explorers. Adventured from the North point of the Peninsula back through Peninsula State Park & needed a quick bite. Julie's had breakfast available until 3:01 PM & I had to have it. Veggie Omelet with egg whites & fruit. Perfectly & quickly made just in time to appease the appetite I built up hiking. Quaint, family-friendly cottage atmosphere. Next time I'm getting the French Toast!”
“This new restaurant in Fish Creek is the height of elegance with a decor that suggests Manhattan rather than Door County. This is not a knock but a compliment as the place is gorgeous‼️.
The dishes are superb, including a delicious Halibut and a Filet that was so beautifully prepared that I had to admire it before eating. The appetizers included Bone Marrow and a foie gras Pate to die for, not currently on the winter menu. Available now are Duck Empanadas and Onion soup, both delicious. There is also a selection of Oysters for your dining pleasure. Pleasantly, CUT offers a half priced bottle of wine 🍷 to entice you if you feel budget conscious.
I hate to say that I do not remember much about the desserts since I have never had any. Our eyes landed on the specialty Martinis, one of which was a Pistachio Martini. This is the best martini that I have ever had in my life‼️😋.
CUT is a little more expensive than The Waterfront, Osteria Tre Tassi, Chives, and other fine dining restaurants, but the dining experience is well worth it. Most of my tab was jacked up by the fine wines and that to die for Pistachio Martini. The tab will run about $180 for two, but I do love the fine wines. This would be about $30 more than the other aforementioned restaurants.
I don’t know about the new restaurants in Egg Harbor as they are too far away from us, but CUT represents the pinnacle of fine dining in Door County. Very pleasing staff and service as well.
I might add that the gorgeous restaurant is upstairs, but many choose to dine downstairs at the cozy and casual but equally elegant bar area, so, take your pick.”

“Excellent pies, fairly priced. HOWEVER - the owner (?) would be well advised to keep his political viewpoints to himself in this polarized world. Complimenting his Tesla led to him calling Biden a hideously bad president. Fox News watcher? Anyway - THAT experience left a terrible taste in my mouth (not from the pies). I'd much rather deal with Olivia. Stick to creating and selling great pies. Leave your politics at home please.”

“After a long hike my friends and I stopped at Hill Street for dinner. I had the Kurgan Burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The ingredients blended perfectly with each other and the seasoned fries were excellent as well. I wanted to take some time to write what an excellent experience I had at Hill Street and how much I enjoyed their food.”
“What a great little break on our drive up and TK was an amazing host 😀”

“We tried the bone marrow and tuna appetizers. We moved on to crab cakes with lemon aioli and ribeye for our dinners. Thank you to the staff, chef and bartender (I wish we had asked his name). We had a wonderful, peaceful meal here to celebrate our anniversary. The bartender introduced my husband to a new Bourbon and even gave us spot on advice on where to purchase a bottle. Top shelf liquor options galore! The food was amazing! 5 stars and we will visit again!”

“We stopped for lunch today based the Destination Door County guide and online reviews. The bread looked fresh and delicious. The menu of food items is small and I can be pretty selective with my tastes, but we all loved our food. The smoked salmon bagel was amazing - perfect combination of flavors with fresh tomato, cucumbers, and dill. The blueberry bagel with lemon curd was delicious as well. Their cream cheese and bagels were some of the best I’ve ever had. Cultured is tucked away off the main roads, but definitely worth visiting.”

“If you’re looking for a freshly made breakfast in a quiet and friendly atmosphere— this is your place. I LOVE the avocado toast but the fresh baked goods we take to go never disappoint either. Martina is so friendly and works to make Zero Sum the great place it is.”
“As we were driving around Door County on a self guided tour, we saw this place along the way and on a whim we decided to stop. We were so glad we did! It ended up being one of our favorite stops. Decor was awesome, bartenders were friendly and the drinks were great! Will definitely go back the next time we are in the area.”

“Ate here for the first time, I have to say the food, drinks, and service are exceptional but I really wish that they could do something about the noise level, my dining companion and I came very close to having to shout at each other. Needs some acoustic panels on the walls and/or ceiling.”
“A beautiful cafe run by beautiful people. The sandwiches/pastries/coffee here are the best in all of Door County and possibly the world if I’m being honest. This is one of my all time favorite places and I try to share it with everyone I meet”

“The Bright Light In The Storm when most of the town is in winter mode, was awesome to see they were open! Busy Friday night, the bartender was awesome and our Waitress Debbie was fantastic. Even after I blocked her waitress station at the bar! 😄🙃”

“I've been there a few times, everything has been wonderful. Turkey sandwich was delicious, and the "adult" grilled cheese was amazing. I was a bit skeptical about the fig jam, but wow, it was great. Also, the music playlist that is in the background just happened to hit one favorite after another. Go there. Everyone's super welcoming and the service is efficient but not hovering.”
“Goose and Twigs is a place of excellence & a model of how a business can be run. Gustav is kind and welcoming and cares about his guests. G&T is clean, pretty, and the location is perfect! Book today!”
“I was looking to have a breakfast/ brunch catered to our hotel room for my bridal party the day of my wedding while we were getting our hair & makeup done. McEvoy's Culinaria was recommended by the hotel I were staying at. I initially reached out to Scott at McEvoy's & was put in touch with Janet. Janet did a great job in creating a menu based on what we wanted & our budget. She was also very conscientious of dietary preferences & provided us with several vegan options. Janet was so sweet & touched base with the event manager at our hotel to ensure everything went smoothly & was set up properly for our morning. The food was absolutely delicious & was the perfect start to my wedding day! Also – the macaroons were a big hit. So good! I would highly recommend McEvoy's Culinaria to anyone looking for a caterer for a special occasion – big or small!”

“Loved this place when we were in DCWI. Sip had great morning coffee selections (their house coffee is Wonderstate!!!) and I got to try something different each morning. Enjoyed several meals here during our stay as they are one of the few restaurants in Ephraim with true gluten free selections which was so appreciated. The variety of games at the tables was a nice touch!”
