“Let me start out by saying my family and I are huge foodies. We will drive hours to try a new food place. But Los Mezcales is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant and our favorite restaurant in fond du lac. To start with you’re always greeted with a smile and every employee seems happy to be there. The service is always top shelf! The food and drinks are sooo good! We usually order pickup once a week because our son is autistic and doesn’t like public places but on date nights we make sure to venture in. Los Mezcales is a gem :)”

“Great nostalgic atmosphere with super friendly wait staff. Outdoor seating area is like eating in a park with big shady trees and picnic tables, even small kids' tables. We brought the dog and ordered a cheeseburger for her. The staff knew it was for the dog so they made it with no bun inside a container so she could eat out of it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

She was so nice and my daughter can't stop talking about how she has the same name as her friend and her name is almost just like hers. The other people were so nice as well. “I met some friends for breakfast at Rolling Meadows today and everything was wonderful. We had such a sweet, friendly waitress; very attentive. I had the Avocado Toast and they were happy to make it with a hard-boiled egg in place of the poached eggs it listed on the menu. The sourdough toast was so good and obviously homemade. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in years. My friends were all very pleased with their meals, too. I will definitely return, it was a pleasant and relaxing meal with delicious food!”

“Just absolutely hands down love this subway on pioneer. Came here just because it was closest subway from where we were at. Wasn’t expecting anything. Just another subway in this town. First time going there my daughter who was all hyper as she’s 7 and has a lot of energy I just got done with a long day of work and exhausted the young lady was so kind and patient believe her name is Ellie(sure I spelt it wrong and I’m terrible with names) to find out she’s the manger’s daughter. Went back again just because of that experience and ended up with Whitney the other daughter and then met the general manger. Even the staff has always been so nice. Never had a bad service. They remember us, Whitney even helps me remembers what I get for my daughter as I sometimes forget. I love that I walk in there even after not going in there for a while and they remember you, talk to you like you are family not a customer. All friendly staff. It’s hard keeping staff now a days but even seeing young kids actually working just refreshing. It shows what kind of manger they have there. I think some of the other stores need to take a lesson from this store. Hands down won’t go to any other subway. I have found our forever subway. Thank you Shannan, Whitney and the staff for making us feel special. As long as Shannan and Whitney are there we won’t go to any other subway.”

“This was our first visit to this new restaurant. In my opinion it was like a breath of fresh air for fond du lac. Friendly excellent food quality, well maintained. Fried Chicken was the best I've ever had. Part of our group had pizza and they enjoyed it as well. Had the cheese curds in the French bread on the side they were also well done and very tasty. Cheese curds were not overly breaded. The French bread was not overly done with garlic. They have Pepsi products and their selection of beers are excellent. We would rate it five stars and will return again”

“A coworker of my husband’s bragged about these amazing burritos and after losing a friendly bet, said coworker had to buy some burritos. He did and husband brought them home one night. Never told us the name just that it was close to downtown. While out and about today, we decided to look for these mysterious burritos. Thankfully we found them and were so happy! These burritos are not your typical American size - there is 2-3 meals in one. They are AMAZING!!! Service was good and friendly too. Will be back again!”

“I never had Caribou before they came to FDL but now it's one of my favorite coffee shops. I love their iced mochas. They are just so smooth and delicious. My kids like the cookies and cream drink and it's reasonably priced. The coffee beverages are pricey so I only get it as a treat from time to time. The app is great, the service is great, and pickup is easy.”

I definitely frequent this spot and feel comfortable hanging on the patio with my 1 year old - despite being so close to busy streets, the set up is safe enough with close supervision to let my kiddo move around a bit.”

Stopped by Sunset and were pleasantly surprised to see their nice sized patio open for dining, right on the lake. VERY friendly and prompt service. Nice menu, including a personal favorite, gyros and even gyro salad. Will make it a stop in the future for food and drinks.”

“We went there as a small group to watch a Packers game. Service was awesome! Drinks were tasty, Whiskey old fashion. Only downside, the placement of TV's on proximity to the tables. No matter where we sat, everyone had to sit sideways in their chairs to see the screens. Over 3 hours of sitting like that or being forced to keep your head turned became uncomfortable. Either add more tvs, even though they did have a number of them, or reposition the tables so you can see them directly. Otherwise, very good experience.”

Frantically searching my back seat and coming up empty handed (while also panicking where it could be) I told the drive thru lady to quit making my order. They pretty much got rid of most of the indoor seating for fresh ordering & only have seating for the buffet area. I got my order to go, & it was good tasting food still hot even though i had a little ways to drive to give some to my wife & kids. There are 3 parking spots on the back reserved for this restaurant customers without charge, free parking anywhere during the weekend. Otherwise it's paid parking during the weekdays.”
