Our server had a lot of energy and was very attentive. We made a reservation on a Thursday and I'm glad we did because the place was poppin. There was live music, too.“

“If I had to sum up my experience at Filippos in 1 sentence it would be "bang for your buck casual Italian dining with high quality service" We chose Filippos as our valentine day celebration meal. My aunt had trouble calling ahead for reservations but when I called they answered straight away and were very accommodating. The restaurant was a little less than half full on this Wednesday/Valentines day. They were a great restaurant to take a little toddler too, they had so much fun with our two year old and did not seem bothered whatsoever, a true family friendly restaurant. Everyone enjoyed our four course meal. We started out with bread, they brought plenty, some garlic and some plain. Next course was a minestrone that was quite tasty. Everyone's meals came with salad next which was a basic house salad with iceberg lettuce. Next came our huge portion dinners. Not one of us had anything to complain about. The food was so tasty. I ordered the chicken Alfredo but tried the primavera and was obsessed, will definitely be ordering that on my next visit. The chicken cordon bleu is coated with mushrooms so beware it's not just on the side. We ended our night with a cannoli and tiramisu, the perfect ending to a great meal. Our server was so patient with us as we were cackling while ordering. She was very attentive and the food was speedy. Filippos gives the vibes of a family owned no frills business that I'm drawn to. “First time there. Arrived 15 minutes before reservation and enjoyed the bar while waiting for our party to fully arrive. Atmosphere is delightful. Bartender was personable, respectful, and funny! On to dinner, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Not a single beat missed on ensuring we had everything needed. Our host noticed both me and another guest are hard of hearing. She didn’t make a scene about it (this happens a lot), was extremely professional, and made sure we understood. Food was delicious. We all had a great time and will definitely be back.“

There’s usually a great number of customers and many do take out, but the dining area is not neglected because many customers take advantage of that, too.The counter staff is always so pleasant, ready to help with orders and peppering in welcoming small talk. “We got our 1st pizza from Cataro’s Pizza last night at 11:15pm after seeing the band Without Annette at Da Bar nearby. We were hungry so we searched pizza open late near me. That’s how we found this amazing pizza. The owner had closed the dining room early because business has been so slow but he offered to make us one to go. It was so good! “We stopped in to have their fish dinner. I had half baked/fried cod and my wife had all baked cod. We both really enjoyed the fish, the fried cod was excellent. We also had the potato pancakes, which had a slightly sweet taste and were also really good. It’s an older establishment and look every bit of that statement. Our table and seats were clean and so was the rest of the seating area. I’d recommend trying their fish dinners and plan to go back. I thought it was a bit pricey compared with other restaurants offering fish fry dinners.“
“Visit Di Carlo recently after they reopen under different management on Tuesday night for a girls nite out. We were greeted by Frankie and his Uncle Joe behind the bar. We started with Seafood grill and Burrata salad , they were absolutely delicious. Had some great wine from their wine list and were very happy with the choice . After that we had a two pinsa's, creation of former owner of Di Carlo. So Delicious , great atmosphere, ambiance and always pleasant. “We were at Casa Di Giorgio about a week ago on a Sunday. It was busy and the owner was handling most of the tables, but he did an excellent job. We never had to wait for service. All of the food was very good (including the bread) and so was our glass of wine. It’s a nice place.“
