“5 Stars!!!!! I have made Sweet Basil my go to Thai when visiting the Milwaukee area. I will drive 40 minutes out of the way for this curry every time! Amazing food and excellent service.“

“One of the best spots in Milwaukee for Thai food, and my personal favorite. While other places in town are good as well, there's something special about the vibrant color of the curries, as well as the consistency of the food from order to order. I discovered this place during COVID, when it was carry out only, and easily ordered from them once a week in late 2020 - early 2021. It's still a wonderful spot for carry out, and the restaurant itself isn't large, but I am happy to have the option to enjoy the food in the restaurant now as well. The main server, a kind Thai lady who has never given me her name, always calls everyone honey and is genuinely excited and appreciative when the food is complimented. The entire atmosphere is a good, cozy mom & pop kind of place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 10/10.“

“The BEST Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Service was quick and staff members were kind! We ordered the Green Curry and Veggie Pho as well and both were so flavorful. The Shrimp Spring Rolls were so fresh. The quality and quantity of the food for the price is the best part! Can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating. Absolutely recommend!“

“You can get bad service anywhere once. I wouldn't start dinging the rating unless it was systemic. In my case, however, service was great. The tall guy there, owner I presume, handed off my takeout. He was real cool. Food was great, although about half the tofu was over cooked. No biggie, it happens. Thanks, will recommend.“

“This is one of those places you know will taste good because of the old run down feel it has to it. The spring rolls and egg rolls were SO good. 10/10. The lemonade was also very good. My husband had pho and liked it, I tried something new, pad sieew and didn’t love it but that was my fault on choice I’d say. Overall would recommend!“
