“This is a unique craft beer spot in an old mill building in Grafton. We would have liked more options (they had about 10 beers) and the prices are a touch high ($8-12 per pour) but overall it was a cute spot with a relaxing patio to sip a cold bevy. Would definitely go again“

“We attended a family wedding at Milwaukee Ale House on 10/5/24. The party staff was AMAZING. They were professional, attentive, and kept things running smoothly. Sue the coordinator is top notch. She met us the morning of the wedding so that we could set out centerpieces and other decorations. She has great ideas and is super easy to work with, she definitely knows what she is talking about. Jason the bartender makes amazing drinks and is very creative, the best drinks I've had in a long time. Jason also was a pro at handling a guest that had too much to drink, he sensed it and dealt with it in a way that did not embarrass the guest at all. Jamie was working that night as well, she is organized, fast and handled some last minute table changes without a complaint. Sue, Jason and Jamie were wonderful and deserve a pay increase for the services they provide, I am sure they are not making what they deserve. It's not often you come across such hard working individuals and it was truly a pleasure. I will not hesitate to recommend the Milwaukee Ale House to anyone that is looking for a wedding/party venue.“

“I’d been eyeing this place since we booked our stay in Cedarburg months ago. We came in from St. Louis and I knew I wanted to have birthday drinks with my husband and kiddo here on Wednesday evening when we were in town! It didn’t disappoint. The wildfire smoke had cleared quite a bit, the sky was sparkling, and it was a gorgeous evening to sit on the patio and enjoy our drinks. I had the spritzer, my husband had the summer Mule, and our son had the kiddie cocktail with cotton candy. The overall vibe of the place is just perfection, from the second you walk inside until you find a spot to hang on the patio. I wish we didn’t live six hours away. We’d be regulars! “We ordered the Jimmy the Greek pizza, mozzarella sticks, and garlic bread with cheese for pick up. We hadn’t ordered any food there in quite a while, not for any particular reason just had kind of forgotten about the place. When we pulled up to pick up our order, they let us know that they threw in some chocolate chip cookies, which I thought was really sweet. That pizza was freaking amazing! The crust is the best crust I think I’ve ever had on a pizza. I not a pizza crust person and it was literally one of my favorite parts! The mozzarella sticks had Parmesan cheese on them. The garlic bread was delicious and the cookies were an unexpected but delicious treat. We will be back.Excellent food friendly staff“

“Came in 2/16/24 with group of 7. We all loved our food - especially the shrimp appetizer with Asian slaw! Our drinks were wonderful, and we loved our bartender, Tucker, along with all the other staff. I asked if they had stuffed blue cheese olives for my martini and they didn’t have any but made some for me!! We’ll definitely be returning.“

“If you're a snob, don't even bother to stop here. But if a simple place where the locals are willing to embrace you is what you are looking for, then this is the place to stop. Extensive menu includes chips AND peanuts! If you want a cold beer or well poured mixed drink, stop here.“

“If you're looking for that small town pub where you can go to get some good food and talk with friendly people then this is the place for you! We stopped in for lunch and got burgers and fries which were pretty darn tasty. The service was super friendly (if slow), and we enjoyed some nice conversation about travel and small town life while waiting for our food. I definitely recommend dropping in, I know we'll be back for fish fry and their Thursday night special (different every week).“

“Normally we have good luck at the Chancery. Not the case yesterday. I went with my six year old, clearly a “kid” but the seating host didn’t give us a kids menu. I had to go ask for one. I ordered the California wrap with no onions or avocado because I have some food sensitivities. It came with no onions or tomato. I didn’t realize this until I was about halfway through eating it. Thankfully it’s just sensitivity and not an allergy. The cheese on my son’s grilled cheese was barely melted. I could clearly see where each slice of cheese was placed. When the server brought our bill, he did not bring a pen to sign my slip. A bunch of little things but they added up. Hopefully our next experience will be better.“
