“Nostalgia wins! We stopped in because I was so surprised to see a real George Webb's, especially one that was open! The staff was small, only one woman server and one man cooking. But they knocked it out and everyone was getting food fast and everyone seemed content. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. The omelette, chili, and hash browns were classic GW. We definitely wanna come back, it just takes you right back to better days before the internet or before covid. I'm so glad that this GW exists. Cozy nostalgia at its best. And everything tasted great. Who needs Waffle House? This is Wisconsin. We love our GW.

Parking: It's right on a busy major street, but the parking is limited. Not sure about street parking. It's a tight fit, but parking is available.

Kid-friendliness: Obviously good for kids of all ages.“

“We LOVE BIRCH. Getting the monthly tasting menu is one of my favorite things to go do with my husband and friends. The service is impeccable and the environment is unique in the layout as you see right into the kitchen. chefs counter gives you a front row seat to watching the kitchen work!“

“We came with a party of 10 and 3 were children. We did have a reservation and they were able to give us 2 high chairs. We tried many dishes and everything was presented beautifully and was delicious. I mean every single thing we tried was amazing! Our server was wonderful. We had such a great experience!“

“The Knick has become one of our favorite restaurants to go too since moving to WI a couple months a go. It's a relaxing nice restaurant that has excellent service, fantastic food, and great ambience. “I go here for a networking lunch regularly. I've never had a bad experience or meal. I do not know what they do to the creamed corn but it's magic. There's a balance of flavors I can't replicate. “My partner and I were on an overnight to the Milwaukee area and stopped in here for breakfast. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant layout was open and airy. We were greeted and seated promptly, and coffee and water appeared before we even had a chance to ask for it. We ordered our meals, and to our surprise our food arrives within minutes, even on a busy weekend morning. The food was delicious, and the server brought us some sort of cinnamon cake that was also amazing.
We don't travel through that area often, but Maxim's is now our go-to spot!“

We made a reservation ahead of time online but it looked as if walk-ins would have been accommodated! Our waitress, Courtney, was absolutely AMAZING and made our whole experience even better. The vibe of the restaurant was on point and the food was beyond delicious! We got the skillet pimento cheese dip app, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and pecan pie for dessert. Everything was so good and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good, comfort food! Definitely ask to sit in Courtney's section!“

“Very hospitable and friendly staff. the food is full of flavor that progresses with the meal. The food palate is so complete from start to finish, especially when paired with the right wine or cocktail! I will be back! Bonus, the atmosphere is comfortable, time for a meal and conversation. I can’t recommend this enough, especially if you appreciate quality food, locally sourced food that is home made.“

“We had a few drinks and some fried snacks. The food and atmosphere and great. We also took a pie making class with Valeri in the back pie making kitchen. The class was supper fun. She is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. We made strawberry rhubarb pie and it turned out excellent. Valeri really ran a great class and made it fun and informative.“

“We used The Suburban Bourbon / Three Legged Pig for our Wedding on 9/3 at the South Shore Pavilion in MKE and I cannot recommend this place more, 10 out of 10! We ran into a catering glitch 2 months before the big day and found this business- the owner Pete swooped in to save the day! He was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FUNNY and helped make it one of the best days ever! Everyone LOVED the BBQ, mac and cheese, CHIPS and late night paninis. The food and service was SPOT ON! They also accommodated our vegetarian and GF friends :-) I will always call this a serendipitous encounter and I am so happy to have found The Suburban Bourban/ Three Legged Pig/ Pete and the whole crew, thank you all!“

“Came here a few weeks ago for dinner. We have been meaning to try it here and finally made a point to stop. My boyfriend and I shared sweet potato fries and das Brat. Wow! We were very impressed with the taste and quality. Everything that was being brought out around us looked amazing, as well. We wanted to try it all. Our bartender was super friendly too! The space is super cool, has a large bar, lots of tabletop seating and also outside seating area. We will definitely be back. The food here is far superior to anything you will get in Luxe golf bays, so if you are going there thinking you will get food, just save yourself some time/money and stop here first!“
