“Place is an oxymoron. We had the most incredible filets- cut like butter. One medium and the other medium rare, just as we ordered. Then the desert came. Tacky costco brand individual terimisu. I wouldn’t recommend any of their desserts, ever. I’ve tried them all over the years. Aside from desserts, every plate is wonderful. Fall menu came out last week- my dog and I are really missing the smoked pork chop. Pet friendly patio with cover from the elements.”

“We tried Cut Stone in Kenosha last night. We started with the meatballs which were good. I would skip them and get either the bruschetta or stuffed mushrooms next time. I had the Crab Ragoon pizza made of cream cheese mixed with crab topped with mozzarella wonton strips, green onions and sweet chili sauce. It was creative and very tasty. My hubbt had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. His was a bit floppy from all the toppings. Once it cooled off it was easier to eat a slice. The crust is more of what I'm use to which was delicious. The kind you can fold. Over all it was a bit pricy but I think it was worth it. He wishes he got a more creative pizza. We will be going back.”

I drove to the place and found it was in a questionable part of town and on a Saturday night, no one was there and I thought uh oh. Already committed, I went in and ordered a small Sal’s stuffed pizza with extra sauce. The pizza was astoundingly delicious and made me wonder why the people of Kenosha aren’t frequenting this place. Based on my long history of eating all kinds of pizzas, there should have been a line out the door! Well done Sal’s!”

“We just went here for lunch while up in Kenosha for the day and everything was OUTSTANDING. We loved the environment. Everyone was so friendly. They have a patio where you can bring your dog. I had the cheeseburger quesadilla appetizer and it was so good. I'm not usually a chipotle person but it was just the right amount of heat. My fiancé and I shared the loaded fries and they were also good. But the star of the show was the corned beef tacos. They were so fresh and delicious. The corned beef is so tender and flavorful. I took a chocolate cake slice to go and can't wait to try that when I'm not so stuffed. We will definitely be back! My fiancé said he wishes he could go back for dinner tonight!”

“We recently discovered Renzo’s and have dined in a few times already. In addition to excellent food, Rosie (the owner) and her daughter are so welcoming. We feel like we are eating at a family member’s house rather than a restaurant. Being there brings back wonderful memories of Sunday dinner at my Gram’s house. Portions are very generous and everything we have tried has been excellent! Make sure you try the Renzo’s fries (they are similar to a breadstick made from pizza dough with marinara sauce for dipping), the popovers (similar to a calzone and loaded with whatever ingredients you select and topped with their delicious marinara sauce), and of course their amazing pizzas. Renzo’s has become our favorite restaurant for Italian food and we visit often. Rosie greets us with a big hug and we love taking to her about Italy and our travels there.”

The food itself was good, though I personally would’ve enjoyed just a bit more seasoning and spice to bring out the flavors even more.

Then came the shareables: Buffalo chicken egg rolls—crispy perfection with the ideal shell-to-filling ratio. Bucket of Balls (yes, it’s fun to say)—tender, juicy meatballs swimming in a zippy marinara we shamelessly dipped everything into. Steak quesadilla with salsa that could win awards. Rich, smoky, flavorful—it nearly upstaged the quesadilla itself. Special shoutout to our waitress, Lainy, who was an absolute gem—super friendly, incredibly attentive, and spot-on with her recommendations. She definitely added to the vibe and made the visit even better. This one’s officially on the must-stop list for all future Kenosha trips. “Just finished an incredible Fat Tuesday/early Valentine’s dinner at Sturinos! The eggplant Parmesan was the best I’ve ever had! The eggplant was sautéed and seasoned perfectly with a nice topping of Parmesan and mozzarella. Usually the eggplant has so much breading that you hardly taste the eggplant itself. This was just perfect. My husband had the meatloaf special and loved it. The mashed red-skin potatoes were delicious and the meatloaf was flavorful and moist. Everything is homemade and fresh. One of our favorite restaurants in the area!”

The cook are too older women Tere and Reyna and I have fell absolutely in love with there cooking. They never forget a customer and even make empanadas that are great snack to take home.My favorite are the chicken enchiladas I go crazy for the red sauce no one has made it as good or even close. The waiters are awesome always the boys are always a great conversation and get what I need right away. Go easy on the girl she does smile and will get the hang of the job.(Never know what a person going thru so be nice) But a 30 minute drive is always worth it. This is our favorite place and we try a new place everytime we decide to dine but now can't stop coming back for more. so from illinois and wisconsin this is our #1 spot and we'll worth it so glad it ain't far but I drive hours for the food!”

Bingo is popular and always a full house so arrive early. Long Island ice teas are a good choice. Good bar food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.”

“Best bread in existence! Try the Round. It's hearth baked and tastes so good! These guys inspired me to bake bread since nothing like it exists after moving to Missouri post high school. Cardinali's is true old school craftsmanship (hand shaped and hearth baked - on a stone) as opposed to the machine made chain driven oven mass produced product at the other bakery in Kenosha. There's a difference! I grew up eating both bakery's bread. Now as a baker, I understand why my grandparents (1920-2000) bought all (or mostly all) Cardinali's. It's a true artisan bread. There's nothing else like it (anywhere)! Tip... buy more than you need. FREEZE what you won't eat right away. Thaw what you need for the next day overnight.”

“The parking lot is horrible from every direction. Very dangerous, very impractical. The drinks and the workers are always great. Drive thru is horrid as well. Parking spots are blocked by the drive through. Larger vehicles are out of luck at this location.”

Recently I started trying the protein oats thanks to Alex recommendation and they are delicious I wish I would have tried it sooner! The cashier was a bit slow and didn’t know the description of some food items but she explained she was new and still learning. The only negative thing was the General Tso’s chicken wasn’t spicy at all.”

“This was a happy accident 😂 I thought I had made a reservation at a different restaurant, but found out I was wrong when that restaurant didn't have our reservation. We made it to The Boathouse and were very happy with my error! The vibe was energetic and chill at the same time. Our server was amazing! 5 in our party-We had the pretzel bites and cheese curd apps. Both were very good, cheese curds were unlike anything we've had-all were perfect squares with a very light batter-unique and delicious! 3 people had the fish fry-generous portions! The other 2 had a burger and shrimp po'boy-very good with a lil kick. We are in Kenosha sporadically and this will be our go to spot!”

“The food here is actually pretty good, I can't agree with those speaking so bad about it. I have never had the experience of this bland food one person spoke of, or bad egg rolls, in fact I often buy at least 2 with any order. My only negatives I have to speak of, are that I personally would like my General Tso's chicken a bit more spicy, and that it's probably a better idea to pick up soda elsewhere, the price is a little high. My personal opinion, is it is worth trying. I know I'll be going back.”

The sandwiches were well wrapped AND labeled!
