McDonald's in Madison

“Came in out of town and stayed next to this mcdonalds so I walked for a late night bite. A man tweaking out inside had me backed into a corner booth while I waited for my food. The manager got my food as fast as he could so I wouldn't get assaulted by the scary man tweaking. Thank you for the stories and the late dinner haha“

“This is the cleanest Mc Donald's with the nicest staff ever. The food is McDonald's hence my rating and is not intended to be a ding on the staff/franchise by any means. It's solid fast food prepared fresh and served with a smile.“

“It's a McDonalds. They are, if nothing else, consistent which is what the kids like. I don't eat there for me much any more but ordering through the app and picking up curbside ensures the best deals and good, to prompt service.“

“I've never ordered through the kiosk before. I also wanted to pay in cash. There were 3 other customers waiting for their food. The woman at the counter was extremely rude. It took quite a long time for her to ask for payment, appx. 20 minutes to get my order to go. Ridiculous. A big breakfast/no pancakes shouldn't take that long.“

“So, it is the second day of spring break and I am visiting friends in Madison. I walk in this Mcdonalds to get my boys some smoothies and let them play at the playplace. I order at the first kiosk by the door and then walk straight into the play area after turning around.

What I see surprises me... there are four people working on laptops and one on the phone. They are taking all the tables. I see a chair in the corner and sit while my boys take their shoes off. One man, presumably in charge tells me it is fine to be there... their next session doesn't start for an hour and a half.

??? Mind racing, I ask if it is closed and if I walked passed a sign. Indeed it was and I had. A piece of paper with BIG BOLD FONT. *facepalm*

I was encouraged to let my boys play anyway. The boys enjoyed their time until our order arrived and then we enjoyed smoothies outside the play area. I hope your meeting goes well. Thank you kind corperate-type stranger! Your courtesy and kindness was appreciated.“

“Newly renovated, which looked really cool but it seemed understaffed. They clearly wanted us to use the touchscreen interface in the lobby rather than approach the counter which was functional enough but it took several min of me standing at the counter in order to get an additional sauce packet and a cup for water.“

“I go here quite often (2ish times a week during school) and have always gotten my food, almost always with the correct items. While the way you get your food is a bit disorganized, the place is often super busy or at least swamped with mobile orders, so give the workers some grace. My good experiences have far outweighed any bad ones, and even the bad ones have always resolved themselves once I have gotten my food. My one MAIN PIECE OF ADVICE is just to order on the electronic kiosks. They don't always have someone ready at the registers. A classic spot and I have had many 20 piece nugget meals here over the last couple of years. I love McDonald's and this location has kind of been my home base, so to squeak. When I go to other McDonald's, I often find myself comparing it to this location. Keep it up!“

“Kid-friendliness: It doesn't have a play area, but they have a good selection for kids meals, not worth the price though sadly.... Honestly last Happy meal I bought my friend I think they got like four fries in the fry cup....

Wheelchair accessibility: They are definitely wheelchair accessible so it's easy for people to get in and out they also accept service dogs which I really appreciate“
