Had dinner last night before the Temptations and was very pleased. I had the sirloin steak and it was delicious. My companions all enjoyed their meals as well. The service was excellent. I hope that this restaurant is around for a long time. We loved the old time atmosphere and the velvet painting above our booth. Classic restaurant.
I had the broccoli cheese bites and Rueben sandwich. Both were very good. Side order of fries was large. I left feeling full. A vegetarian menu is offered - my mother in law said the veggie burger was excellent. The prices are appropriate. We have peanut allergy and there was no trouble accommodating this.The service was excellent. Like most state street restaurants, the outdoor patio is on the sidewalk and small, but did had room for us. Could benefit from sunshade umbrellas....read full review

Our server was very kind. The atmosphere is unique and fun. Unfortunately, it was not worth $30 a person. The food was just okay. Despite that, I would come back (when I’m not on a budget).
