“This delightful find was perfect in every way. But the food was the shining star for us all. The special sushi rolls we chose were each delicious ( Scorpion king, milwaukee, and ocean). We ordered wasabi shumai pork dumplings and they were definitely a hit. We also love the yellow jalapeno appetizer as well as the tuna capacho! Both were FABULOUS! Cocktails were allay lovely. “The service was warming. The young lady made sure we had everything we needed. She recognized it was my first time visiting their establishment. You could tell she had a relationship with their customers. Which says a lot. The fish was fresh and fried with a great golden coating. The pieces were a nice size not tiny and shriveled up. ???? We will be returning. We thank you for great service.Note: Don't allow the exterior to detour you from trying them out. It may not be fancy however everything was fresh and it didn't look dirty.

JJ Fish & Chicken is a great place for tasty, fresh food. The fried fish and chicken are crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and service is quick, making it a good spot for takeout or a quick meal. I’ll definitely be coming back again.“

“We recently stayed in an Airbnb very near China East. After touring for the day, it was easy to come back to the house and order. Pickup was 5-10 minutes, and food was ready and hot. We especially liked their sweet and sour soup. I ordered chicken with broccoli one night and shrimp with broccoli another night, garlic sauce on the side. Portions were large and lasted for more than one meal. Reasonable prices.“

“This is my first time and it will not be my last time purchasing a crab boil With Cajun seasoning from this place I give them a 10 out of 10 even though they left out my eggs I ordered a special with the lobster tail, but they didn’t give me no eggs once I started eating it I couldn’t pull myself away to go back up there to get the eggs I Don’t stay too close to the restaurant. So despite not having the eggs, it was still good and I will be returning I was kinda mad about the eggs my boil was $52“

I’m only giving a 4 because the fried fish, fries and gumbo were a little subpar but still good for being pretty far from Texas or the south. The seafood platter was a definite ✨FIVE STAR✨!! “Finally tried the chicken and shrimp alfredo from many recommendations and it was 🔥 🔥 🔥 chicken was juicy and very saucy. Not many shrimp but enough. I will add broccoli next time and mushrooms if they have them. If you scared of a lil salt don’t order it. It wasn’t overly salty but for somebody who watches their salt intake might find an issue. My mild buffalo wings with the fries was on point per usual. I got a peach lemonade and it was good too. Again very sweet for somebody who can’t handle that don’t get it! I just added a little water to it when I got home. The ice machine wasn’t working so I added ice too. The restaurant was clean. I know they can be hit or miss but they was on point this day! Actually I never had a miss. If it’s a busy time of day like a lunch rush, the last hr before close or a weekend, just plan and call ahead if you can. I called ahead and got great food. My auntie said her plain whole wings didnt have any flavor but people usually go for the variety of flavors they offer so go up the street to jjs for plain wings. & you can sprinkles some seasoning on your own food right at the side counter. And when I came in there was someone at each register waiting to help customers. I know everybody won’t have a good experience but damn yall it’s not Coopers Hawk 🥩 but its good ghetto food lol.“
