I have food sensitivities and when I asked the barista what was in the quiche, she pulled out a binder with all the ingredients for every item they sell!! It was such a relief to know I could eat my food without worrying I’d have a reaction (unlike a diner).

At first, I gave them 5 stars, but after going into the bathroom I had to downgrade them. The whole room was filthy. The walls were dirty, the art was covered in dust and grime, the toilet didn’t flush right, the faucet was disgusting, and the door was not only badly rusted, but covered in dirty fingerprints. Even the mirror was cloudy with old grime!“

You can specify mg's and I have found that to be consistent. While I have not attended yet, they also host trivia and movie nights. Staff has all been super chill and helpful. Bri knocked it out of the park today!“

“I wish I had taken this photos of the food before I dug in. Delicious chilequiles, and even better ranchos huervos. The food is extremely fresh and flavorful. It's a unique take on something I've seen in every form, but they get it right with little surprises in every bite. Do yourself a favor and get the orange juice. The fresh sweetness really helps stabilize the slight spice and heaviness of the food.“

“One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“

“Zuzus has incredible food as far as I can tell. The food here is surprisingly delicious, and has like complex flavors and creative recipes with fresh ingredients. It's not expensive, the portion sizes aren't insane, and it's usually light, tastes good, fresh, and right next to the zoo. I would say this is one of my most favorite restaurants that I've visited so far in Madison, as someone who doesn't go to sit-down restaurants a lot. The cooks here are really good, and I think that has to do with the size of the menu. The quality you get here is like, more value for your buck than most of the casual food places I've been in this city. I recommend this place. The atmosphere outside is okay, considering its right next to an intersection, it can be variable. It looks alright inside. The service is alright.“

“I am here from out of town. I had a break between engagements and the weather required I go get a chai and just be still for a bit. The staff were so pleasant. My chai was perfect. I hung out in a comfy chair for a little over an hour and had to go back for another drink. I most definitely recommend. reasonable prices, great staff, and a lovely environment for studying, people watching out the window, or a grab and go.“

“Nice new addition to this area of town. It’s a decent sized coffee shop with several seating areas. Nice menu with both ready made foods and simple options to order. Coffee and matcha options are fairly decent. They also have a decent tea selection. Pleasant and clean. They have outdoor seating areas, which will be fantastic for the warmer months. Parking in this area is not easy, you might find street parking. They do have roasted beans and other merch to purchase. Take a break - make it a fika time - enjoy the coffee and connecting with friends!“

There are also live music events a lot here and at the Mill making it a great home base. And then you can top the day off with some ice cream!“
