The food is okay. Chicken sandwiches are a little thin and they charge too much for the sauce. I got chicken bites with my meal. And they said it came with no sauce and then charge me a dollar for some barbecue sauce. Prices nowadays are getting ridiculous.

Checkers is a restaurant with a mixed reputation. While some customers have had positive experiences, others have reported issues with cleanliness and service. The food is described as "good" and "nice and cheap," with some reviewers praising the establishment's affordability and mentioning it's great for "munchie food." Recently, many customers have noted the well-put-together appearance of the operations and employees, with neat uniforms and well-contained hair, which minimizes concerns about food handling. However, there are still issues with service, as some customers have encountered staff with poor manners and a lack of helpfulness. Despite these drawbacks, one reviewer highlighted the excellent service provided by Derick, who ensured their experience was memorable with fresh and warm food. With only two locations in Milwaukee, Checkers seems to have a loyal following, particularly for those looking for a quick bite, as the drive-thru is noted for its speed.
