“My sister and I got take-out here on Saturday night. We shared crab rangoons, sesame chicken, vegetable lo mein, and vegetable Mei Fun! Everything was very good! We were at work, so our go-to Chinese food spot was too far away, so we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!“

“We had the family-style fish fry. The fish is lightly breaded, not beer batter. we don't particularly care for beer battered fish. the fries are really good. too. Very generous portions for 2 people...I think there were 12 pieces of fish! I don't like the cole slaw much...I like creamy Cole skaw and this was mostly coarsely shredded cabbage and carrots with little dressing. But the fish is really good..“

“China Dragon is the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life and I can say I've been all over Wisconsin New York Omaha you name it I had the orange chicken and wasn't dry it was hot and had a little spice to it they put loving and you can taste the onions the green peppers the broccoli which I didn't think they would put in and it taste like it was smoked on the grill is this is an amazing place it's I don't even want to give you the secret out cuz it's that great they deserve 5 Stars they put love into their product they make and it's the best place I'm glad I found it I will be going there all the time amazing five stars for sure.“

The service is truly excellent: they're always pleasant, the prices are reasonable, the order is always right, it's always ready on time (usually a little early in fact), always hot and fresh. When I'm ordering for the spouse and kids, or on the odd Thursday evening when I'm too tired to cook, and what I really need is for everyone to get what they expected, no surprises or delays or hassles, this is the place. They have a few tables but the vibe is definitely takeout. “Have been ordering from this place since it opened and I have never been disappointed. It is one of the best American Chinese food places on this side of Wisconsin. The ingredients always taste fresh and delicious, with generous takeout portions. They don't skimp on the meat or seafood! I have kids that are picky eaters and they love the shrimp with broccoli and the egg rolls the most. My kid who always asks for only peanut butter sandwiches all day will quietly chow down on the rice and broccoli, then invite the shrimp to the belly party. Another of my kids didn't even know until today that egg rolls are full of cabbage (stuff she doesn't like to eat if I make it at home) and just raised her eyebrows and said "well I love cabbage then!" and continued to eat the whole egg roll up as usual.The staff are always polite and friendly, food is made to order and ready quickly. “Sunday night we were the only patrons at 5:45. But boy it was incredible dumplings. The place should have been packed.

We had six different types of dumplings. I can’t remember what they all were but they were all good.

Service was fast attentive and courteous. Then again we were it.

The environment of the store is very nice as well. It's a chill place that's not too loud and is decorated in nicely. “Incredibly legit northern Chinese restaurant. As an ABC (American born Chinese), I was literally the least Chinese person there when we went. Seems like the whole Chinese population in Milwaukee knows about this place, and it definitely deserves the recognition.

They have an extensive menu, but their northern style foods really stand out - dumplings, noodle/soup noodle dishes, and certain stir fries that are more specifically from northern China. Our favorites that we ordered were the 地三鲜 (eggplant, potato, and green pepper) and 麻辣汤米线 (spicy soup with noodles?).

Their food does seem to run on the salty side, but it’s also because it is mostly intended to go with white rice.

Will definitely be coming back.“

“The exterior is so unassuming, boasting of red glass tiles and no windows. However, when you step inside, you are transported into a Cantonese inspired eatery. The ceiling tile was nicely arranged, and the seating and decor ties everything together beautifully. I noticed that each table was extendable in some way which I thought was really cool. I’m sure the functionality makes for great transitions when serving large parties.
As we sat down, we were greeted by two hosts, who provided wonderful service throughout our dinner. The young lady turned the channel to a Disney movie for our little ones, which really helped to curve their anxiousness while waiting.
I ordered the General Tso’s dinner which I finished in the restaurant, my mom and the littles ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, cabbage, crab Rangoon and dumplings. The kids and I enjoyed our food, my mom felt more meh about the flavor.

Personally, I’ll go back. They stated they’re working on their liquor license so soon cocktails will be added to the menu which is an added bonus for a night out.“

“I have been going to Panda Hut in West Allis for decades. I love love love their food. When I worked at the VA our boss would often treat us to lunch specials. We'd pick it up and eat at work. That's how I was introduced to wonton soup. It's the best I've ever had. It comes in a quart, or a smaller container, but I could drink the whole quart by myself. Egg rolls are awesome. Shrimp egg foo young is awesome. Everything is awesome. Lo mein. Fried rice. Lemon chicken...Depending on your age, you may remember the store for young women called Three Sisters. That's what used to be in the Panda Hut. The tile is still in the entryway.“

“I have been coming to China Max since I was little. I've always loved their orange chicken, pineapple chicken, chicken with broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. I'll usually have any of those with the fried rice. It's great food to have while you're just shopping in the mall! My favorite thing is their teriyaki sauce that is right in front of their registers. I could have that sauce every day!“
