“I always point people to this spot when they ask where my favorite pizza is. I love the unique combinations that they come up with. We got two pizzas and some spinach artichoke dip. Our server had a lot of energy and was very attentive. We made a reservation on a Thursday and I'm glad we did because the place was poppin. There was live music, too.“

The chicken piccata meatballs were delicious. The portion sizes for our main dishes were very generous, so we had left overs. Both dishes were great! “If I had to sum up my experience at Filippos in 1 sentence it would be "bang for your buck casual Italian dining with high quality service" We chose Filippos as our valentine day celebration meal. My aunt had trouble calling ahead for reservations but when I called they answered straight away and were very accommodating. The restaurant was a little less than half full on this Wednesday/Valentines day. They were a great restaurant to take a little toddler too, they had so much fun with our two year old and did not seem bothered whatsoever, a true family friendly restaurant. Everyone enjoyed our four course meal. We started out with bread, they brought plenty, some garlic and some plain. Next course was a minestrone that was quite tasty. Everyone's meals came with salad next which was a basic house salad with iceberg lettuce. Next came our huge portion dinners. Not one of us had anything to complain about. The food was so tasty. I ordered the chicken Alfredo but tried the primavera and was obsessed, will definitely be ordering that on my next visit. The chicken cordon bleu is coated with mushrooms so beware it's not just on the side. We ended our night with a cannoli and tiramisu, the perfect ending to a great meal. Our server was so patient with us as we were cackling while ordering. She was very attentive and the food was speedy. Filippos gives the vibes of a family owned no frills business that I'm drawn to. A new west allis staple for me We all left so full and everyone had leftovers.“
“We had a beautiful dinner at Tenuta's Italian - Bay View last night. Got there early at 5, and it was hopping! We had: -carpaccio (best I've ever had...meat was so tender and beautifully balanced with capers, cheese, and arugula) -Agnello pasta: Lamb meatballs, Calabrian chilies, tomato cream sauce, penne, goat cheese -Pan seared salmon, snap pea risotto, melted leeks, cherry tomatoes, brown butter, thyme -tiramisu....OMG. We started off dinner with garlic bread, and kids had an amazing thin crust pizza, but didn't manage to grab pics. First time here, and won't be my last. “We got our 1st pizza from Cataro’s Pizza last night at 11:15pm after seeing the band Without Annette at Da Bar nearby. We were hungry so we searched pizza open late near me. That’s how we found this amazing pizza. The owner had closed the dining room early because business has been so slow but he offered to make us one to go. It was so good! I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!“

The pasta was the perfect al dente and I am picky about the pasta. Wonderful service too. You have to try this place once you will be back. It's a 10 out of 10!!!“

“The food was really good, getting the tour of Italy was a great way to try the different things. However the service was not the same. The regulars in the restaurant were treated amazing however if you weren't a regular the servers were kind of cold/doing the least amount of service. Overall good but I wouldn't dine in again.“
“We were at Casa Di Giorgio about a week ago on a Sunday. It was busy and the owner was handling most of the tables, but he did an excellent job. We never had to wait for service. All of the food was very good (including the bread) and so was our glass of wine. It’s a nice place.“

Try to make it into the restaurant to eat in, as it's a beautiful establishment and the staff is great. “Excellent pizza! Great crusty chewy real crust. Exceptional sausage. Generous with ingredients. We always get carry out because I am disabled and cannot leave home. The pizza is securely boxed, and because I order it uncut tastes just like it came out of the oven freshly made. I'm 74, and have had pizzas from all over Milwaukee, this is my favorite. Great job! Thank you, don't ever change!“
“I’ve gotten Nonnas twice before. The first time the pizza wasn’t crispy at all and it was kind of disappointing, however the second time was much better. The sauce is awesome and crust is good when it’s crispy. Paid about $16.50 for a Large with one topping. They charge about $1 more if you pay with a card.“

I would suggest eating right away as it did get cold before I could get it back to brewers hill. “I got off of work and still had to wait on my ride (they were taking long as unexpected) and I was outside in this cold (was like maybe -1or 1 degrees, From Milwaukee lol) they are next door. I went here and ask could I sit in here to wait on my ride. The bartender as like "of course" I waiting for my ride about 15 mins and we end up getting a drink and something small to eat. He had the char-grilled hot wings and I had a Philly steak sandwich w/fries. It was hot and satisfying. Now I found a little spot I can grab my lunch from ???♀️? Nice job! “My experience was very wonderful. The woman who took my order was very nice and helpful. She recommend a few different things to try. The person who made the food was very friendly as well. (I’m not a name person so I didn’t catch their names.) I definitely recommend the strawberry cheesecake and any of their shakes. We ordered a 16inch meat lovers pizza for 5 kids and one adult. The three little kids had 2 pieces, the two older kids had 4 pieces and the adult had 4 pieces. Enough to feed a crowd for sure! We also ordered a Philly burger and a Texas burger for two other people. They were amazing!! “For starts, I am very picky on Italian beef lolsandwiches. So I will say the sandwich was decent. Not the best one I have had but definitely better than a lot of other ones I have had. Only two complaints. First, I feel the size of the bread needs to be smaller or there needs to be more beef. It wasnt a horrible amount on there but the bread over powers. The second thing, the auju was slightly to greasy for me. Good flavor though. Overall, if you like Italian beefs I'm sure you will like this one.“

“Visit Di Carlo recently after they reopen under different management on Tuesday night for a girls nite out. We were greeted by Frankie and his Uncle Joe behind the bar. We started with Seafood grill and Burrata salad , they were absolutely delicious. Had some great wine from their wine list and were very happy with the choice . After that we had a two pinsa's, creation of former owner of Di Carlo. So Delicious , great atmosphere, ambiance and always pleasant.
