“Small Town bakery that nails it "old school"! Nothing off a good connoisseur magazine here, just darn good baked goods that don't put you in the poor house! It's a friendly family operation that puts out really good bakery while treating there customers well. It has become a favorite of ours. The only issue you may find is what products they have on the day your going. We usually just wing it, but I'm sure you can always order ahead....like that apple pie waiting on my counter for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow!Wheelchair accessibility: Not really accessible. I am sure they would bring items out to you as it is a family run business.”

“My partner and I were looking for a new place to try and he ended up finding this restaurant for us while browsing online. We went and it is super cute, not too big, and the staff were super nice.As far as the food, we were very impressed. I had a tuna melt and it was delicious. Partner had prime rib and the little man had a kids cheese burger. Well definitely be back and I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't yet!Wheelchair accessibility: While walking in you'll notice the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They also have a sign stating so near the door.”

“Went on a Friday night for fish fry and it was pretty good. Nothing over the top, or anything that will blow you away, but its better than some of these other local family restaurants thats for sure. They have a decent selection on their menu, and the wait for anything take out is pretty quick if you choose to grab something on the go. I have stopped in about 5 times since I learned about the place and i haven't been disappointed with any of the food i ordered. My hats off to the owner as he's normally the only one cooking, at least he has been the only one cooking every time iv stopped in, usually Friday's for fish fry. He definitely has a passion for cooking and that’s something you don't see often with restaurant chefs anymore. He will personally come to your table to greet himself and to ask how your food is to your liking! Thats the passion im talking about, and he seems to really care about his customers. Iv seem so many restaurants come and go over the past 20 years in that location because they just dont make enough to keep in running. If anyone deserves a successful business to stay open it would be the current owner as he’s a great example of how a business should operate and interact in a smaller town. Every customer is so crucial to his success and the effort he puts in for each customer to ensure satisfaction is definitely off the charts.”

(I can't say that for other speedy-grub restaurants.)The "Curdside Pick-Up" (yes, that's spelled correctly) has been a great option, too - if you don't want to venture into the restaurant. My opinion is that Culver's absolutely NAILED this method through the pandemic. Other restaurants are still trying to figure out how to master this.It's said that people who come to Wisconsin and have never seen a Culver's have to try it...and for very good reason. Culver's is, hands-down, the best you can get in fast food.”

“This is an adorable ice cream shop. They have old-fashioned decorations. There is a mechanical horse small children can ride. There is a train that goes around the top shelf of the entire parlor. The booths are fun. They have tons of flavors of ice cream! And it's on the riverfront. Beautiful!”

Also shared a Deviled Egg Trio appetizer - 3 deviled eggs (six halves) with different toppings (BLT, Brisket, and something else I don't remember). Tasty - and different from usual appetizer options. My friend had Quesadillas, I think they were filled with brisket, which were pretty great. All the food was HOT and FRESH, something you don't always get.I believe that the menu changes often here- and the main draw (as you might guess from the name) is their assortment of beers on tap. I had one with a cherry undertone. I loved it, but my friend hated it. But he chose a different beer that he really liked. With a large menu of choices, you are sure to find something you like.You can eat at the bar or high tables - and they mentioned that there is also a dining room in back. We ate at one of the high tables in the bar and were more than comfortable. The bar has lots of cool things to look at - and I was told that it used to be a strip joint. Which explains the "No Touching the Dancers" sign that hung over the bar.I'll definitely go back. The service was great. Quick (only about 5 people in the place on the Tuesday night we went) and the bartenders and chef (who came out to say hello) were friendly. I love finding places like this. Truly a gem in a city that has lots of food choices.”

“We had the pleasant experience of having Koffie Trader cater heavy appetizers at our recent gathering. WOW! The bourbon meatballs, gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms, water chestnuts wrapped in beacon, spinach cheese spanakopita and assorted desserts were a huge hit. Great presentation and everything was delicious!!!!”
