“Stopped in for lunch and was glad I did. Friendly service from the jump—felt like a place where everyone knows each other, but newcomers are still welcome. Locals at the bar, couple of regulars playing games in the corner, and the staff chatting like it’s just another day in paradise.

It’s not quite a dive bar, but has that same laid-back, no-BS charm. Heard good things about the steak sandwich—can confirm it lives up to the hype. Solid lunch spot with a comfortable vibe, decent menu, and just enough grit to keep it real.“

“I travel for work so go here on Tuesday night for dinner. Great menu and specials. I suggest the pizza. Always a great atmosphere, very nice patrons come here. The bartender Iris is amazing, she literally handles the whole bar, brings out food orders, and so great as a bartender. I love just watching her make different drinks and socializing with customers. So sweet.
Prices are very good and like I said great specials. I go to a lot of different places in my travels but always stop here.“

“I ordered the fish and shrimp combo, and man let me tell you, it was outstanding! I had the fish blackened Cajun style had them dust some Cajun seasonings on the perfectly fried shrimp. I thought I was in Florida. If you know you know!“

“decent food. Friendly wait staff. Maybe 3.5 out of 5 stars for me. Only thing that I thought was odd is that you have to wait until your whole party has arrived before they will seat you. It's not a Bartolotta's restaurant, it's a bar. Only 4 of us looking for a regular 4 top table. They wouldn't seat us until the remaining 2 showed up. There were 11 open tables. The place was not packed. I thought that was strange.“

“Had a cheeseburger and fries plus classic Bloody Mary which was pretty good Plate burger and fries came on was too small so juice from pickles kinda saturated the bun. Ordered medium done for meat but pretty much raw. Maybe that was my fault and should of ordered med well? Liked the fries a lot as not too salty. Service was GREAT! Somehow my wallet came out of my pants pocket and must've fell on chair seat. When we'd left, server tried tracking us down but we were already on our way. I realized it wasn't on me when I got home so called. They had retrieved it and put it in a safe place until my son picked it up the next am. Honesty and integrity those workers have there. “Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!“

“We stopped by Sunday afternoon to have lunch after dress shopping. It was myself, my 5 yr old, my mom, my Mother-in-law, 2 sisters, and my cousin. The service was friendly and fast and the food was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised in the variety of food offered and how it was different than most “bar and grill” food. I would definitely eat here again!👏🏻👍🏻it’s like a fancy Unos/Applebees inside a dive bar vibe😃“

“I am beyond disappointed with my experience here. We asked the bartender for a simple mushroom garnish for our drinks, but they mistakenly rang up an order of breaded mushrooms. When we tried to clarify the order, the bartender completely lost their temper and started screaming at us, accusing us of lying about what we ordered. ​Mistakes happen with orders, but being screamed at by staff is unacceptable. It was embarrassing and ruined our night. We won’t be returning until management addresses the extreme lack of professionalism behind the bar. this occurred at approximately 530-6 pm on 1/2 26 for reference for management as to who the young male bartender on duty was..“

“Moved to the area not long ago and was looking for a nice place to go for a drink. This surpassed my expectations. Great looking sports bar and all of the bartenders are very friendly. I've only gotten apps so far and they've all been very good. It also has the coldest draft beer I've found.“

“I had my brother-in-law's Celebration of Life party at the Thirsty Duck in Sussex for about 55 people. Jessica Neuhaus, the event sales manager, was great to work with and with her help we pulled off a great party. We were able to have a private part with plenty of room for everyone. Even the kids had a great time with the duck pin bowling and corn hole. We had the Southern Style BBQ dinner with pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken. And, the food was Amazing! I had nothing but compliments from our guest and really it was all the Thirsty Duck. I highly recommend this venue for your next party. Lisa D.“
