“We went to El Camino to celebrate the Birthday of my son's fiancé. We had a great time. The food was delicious and seeing there were 12 of us we had a good variety of menu items. Everyone loved it. our waitress Emma was a pure delight. It was pretty busy when we got there and she never missed a beat. Very friendly, attentive, and prompt. Great food,service, and atmosphere. we highly recommend.“

They have been late with my online order at least a dozen times and do not make the online order until I get there and tell them I placed an online order. they will look at the ticket and see it was promised 15-45 min earlier than I arrived and still have not made my order. I will tell the staff I see my ticket hung up so why didnt you make it. I have talked to manager 3x. I have refused to go there but caved after my kids asked me. and they failed again today, placed order at 3:45, for "promised time" of 4; got there at 405, they forgot and I didn't get my order until 4:25 after I told the staff they forgot about me. The time promised on the online order ticket means nothing. problem must be management as its only been like this since after 2020. they also forgot items all the time or give me the wrong food. also happened to get my kid the right side.“

“This place was hands down THE BEST Mexican food spot around town. If i was on death row, I would order from this place. The tamales are out of this world, better than Mexico itself. My moms food does not even touch the level of Michelin this place deserves.“

“Me and my Husband recently found out about this amazing place and if you want authentic Mexican cooking that's exactly what you will get. It made me emotional because it's reminded me of my grandma kitchen and the food was by far the best I've ever had. I leave extremely full and the food is fresh,hot and delicious. The cook are too older women Tere and Reyna and I have fell absolutely in love with there cooking. They never forget a customer and even make empanadas that are great snack to take home.My favorite are the chicken enchiladas I go crazy for the red sauce no one has made it as good or even close. The waiters are awesome always the boys are always a great conversation and get what I need right away. Go easy on the girl she does smile and will get the hang of the job.(Never know what a person going thru so be nice) But a 30 minute drive is always worth it. This is our favorite place and we try a new place everytime we decide to dine but now can't stop coming back for more. so from illinois and wisconsin this is our #1 spot and we'll worth it so glad it ain't far but I drive hours for the food!“

“Tacos el Norte is our go-to on Tuesdays. Everything on the menu is good and flavorful. The staff is very friendly and it's family-run. We never have to wait very long for our food and they always get our food order right. They even suggested things for us to try off the menu, and they didn't disappoint. Dine-in or take-out, we are so happy to have found this place. Don't let the strip mall area fool you, this is a gem“
