“the countryside pub is a great place to grab a drink and have some great food. the bartender(been there 31 years) is awesome. we had the ghost pepper cheese curds, and they were great. also, my group had the meatball sub, the tuesday taco special, and the prime rib sliders. All of us agreed the food was top-notch. would definitely eat there again when in the area. we are a little way from home. we live in Eastern indiana.“

“I want this place to succeed. My husband and I, who are not at all motorcycle people, stumbled in here for the first time on a Sunday day. Dressed in carhart and flannels we were way out of place. But that didn't stop anyone there-staff and patron, from welcoming us in in conversation, going outside to watch the bikes spin and smoke tires, and just have a great day. Because of this we have gone back a few times and each time it looks closer and closer to meeting its end, as the traffic to them is halted due to construction. It maKES ME SO SAD. PLEASE GO THERE AND PATRON THEM. Road construction is not their fault. It is like and hour from our house to that bar, other wise we would do it ourselves daily. If you go there and they are short on stock, don't be a dick and pick something else. If you are from Wisconsin you have at least seven back up drinks....“
“Clean, cool establishment on the channel to Wind Lake. Great service! Drinks, Pull tabs, pool, gambling machines… everything one needs to have a great time!Got a few mixers… YUM! Strong enough to make me have to think twice about the Women’s bathroom “NAUTI” decor. Lol.Recommend stopping in for a good time!“

I went out looking for a bar to hang out in on a Sunday night and they were the only ones open within probably a hundred miles because it was late around close to midnight! The bartender was very fun and she kept the bar open later just for me kudos to her“

“We stopped for dinner tonight. Patio is awesome. Our server, Karen was attentive, funny, and fast. We had the Wednesday special, 2 tacos. I make better tacos at home. They didn't come with rice and beans (which most places include) No chips and salsa included, we had to pay extra for that. They had no wings as there is a shortage and the tater tot nachos were cold and bland. We might go back when we want to drink on the patio, but not sure about coming back for the food.“
“Richys is a great local bar. A total must stop and have one if you're in the area. If you're lucky Sheila will be working! She has a boat load of shenanigans and sass to dish out along with slinging the coldest beer in town. If you're a popcorn lover, they have a popcorn machine! So good! Great atmosphere, great people!“

“Local dive bar with relatively calm, friendly daytime patrons. As the sun goes down, the crowd transforms to a much more wild and crazy group. The service overall is good but can tend to be a little slower at night just because the crowd is normally larger. But not bad service. The regulars are very cliquey. Worth noting, the drink prices are the best around and every once in a while they will throw you a free one. Good time if you like a little bar drama in your life.“

If you get a chance to see Lunch Money Bullies, who play here often, you are in for a fun night of great Rock and Roll that you want to dance to. There is good size room in the back past the stage so keep walking.“

“It is New Year's Eve 2024. We just got home from Michael's On the Lake and my husband ordered the special 44oz Porterhouse and it was divine! This steak was at least 3 inches thick.....but maybe more, so flavorful and melted in our mouths. (He shared a piece with me.) He ordered it rare snd it came out perfectly. All the food was fresh. The music and atmosphere were classy and subdued. The wait staff is well trained and friendly. The old fashioneds were great too. Michaels on the Lake is a jewel of a restaurant. This family owned and run place is worth the drive!“
“We bike the White River Trail on Friday nights and happened to stop in to a very delightful seafood meal. The cook is very friendly and his food is delicious. Not your normal bar food, I would highly recommend it !!!“

“We just had the pleasure of enjoying BJ Wentker’s Friday fish fry and want to recommend it to all! Delicious fried cod(although baked was an option), crispy potato pancakes , wonderful coleslaw and warm rye bread….best we’ve had in years! The old fashioned was terrific too!“
