“Good prices for families! Good service. I’m torn because they don’t have kid options but they would make a grilled cheese (not on menu). There are not alternate options for dietary restrictions. I also was surprised winning best burger would include using canned mushrooms. We won’t be back but others would enjoy. They did a nice job.“

“I gotta say, once you've had halibut in Alaska it's nerve wrecking to order it anywhere else. You hit the mark and then some. Not only was the halibut perfect and fresh, but the pairings were spot on! I'm having dreams about the organic creamed corn with nueske's bacon and black trumpet mushrooms. I cleared the whole plate after lots of appetizers, and ate some of my wife's delicious steak!

“This place is a great little find! Happened upon it by chance, but I'm glad I did. The Gyro meat was tender, and the homemade Tzatziki sauce has a great flavor that doesn't overpower the rest of the gyro. The baklava has a really good flaky Philo dough, and the filling is nutty and not too sweet. Highly recommend this place. I'm looking to try the baba ghanoush next time I'm in town.“

“I discovered the Lil Ole Winemaker Shoppe this year when I was looking for supplies to make my own wine. Paul was so helpful and set me up to make wine, him and his wife, Lisa were so friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I started going there and liked it so much that we decided to have our Christmas party there. We had about 25 people including children, everyone was so helpful and hospitable. We served food and had a second room set up for someone to make custom jewelry. I also brought my sound system and played music, and the kids sang a little karaoke. A few people from the crowd stepped up to play too. Recommend 💯%. I’m booking for next years Christmas soon!“

“I was told to try day break for a good fish fry by a friend as i have struggled to find a good fish fry that reminds me of home with good fresh portions of perch walleye,and white fish. Most places here serve cod which I'm not crazy about. Iv come to the conclusion after trying 7 spots in wausau that central wisconsin doesn't have the resources for the fry I'm used to back in Michigan. The people here were wonderful, that goes for the service as well as the guests inside promoting a nice atmosphere. ?“

“2nd visit. It was a quite night, the staff informed us that was due to ”spring break”. This restaurant has a warm, fun atmosphere. We were given a “tour” of the two main floor dining rooms and learned about the history of the building and Wausau itself buy the pictures hanging on the walls. The staff was attentive. Extensive wine list, bartender gave a quick lesson of Gins (differences between London dry and botanical) to one of our guests. With spring around the corner, I enjoyed the zucchini pasta.“

“During a non-busy time, we had to wait over 20 mins for a server. would have been longer if one of their good servers wouldn't have noticed us sitting there for that long and not even have drinks. He went and got our server who didn't apologize and acted like nothing happened. she then continued to ignore us throughout our meal, even walking past the table while a empty drink glass sits at the end of it. after about 10 mins I had to ask a different employee for a refill. if you like to be ignored cone to wausau mine. we will not be returning.“

“Personally, I don't mind that food and place there and it's not my top favorite for Chinese restaurants but it's not terrible either. Yes, you most likely will be waiting for a while for pickup but that gives you time to do some other things in the mean time. The food on the other hand is alright, but it's harder for me to pick out a lot of different things every time so I normally stick with the same dish when ordering. Other than those, dining is fairly comfortable because of how nice the place looks and how well it fits all together

Parking: If the place is busy then parking can be harder, and if for some reason a family is diving in more then one vehicle then parking can come off more harder then normal“

“The food and service was excellent. We had the pad thai with chicken. The portions were huge. You do not leave hungry. What made it even more incredible was that someone anonymously paid for our dinner. Thank you, Whoever you are! Your generosity was over the top. The waitress informed us that the anonymous person paid for the dinners of the entire restaurant. Just mind-blowing. We will definitely pay it forward!“

“Never been here. Did some research before coming to make sure this a pet friendly place. It sure was. My boyfriend and I were the first ones here and then people starting showing up with their dogs. It was great. We were shown where to sit with our dog. Service was amazing and the food was great. Out of the breweries we have gone too this is on our list to come back too with our fur baby. Their beer was 5 star all the way“
