“Sam's Pizza for the win. I walked in for my pick up today and was treated like family. I had not been there for a while and was greeted by name and handed my pizza before I could even get my wallet. They were also very busy but not busy enough to treat everyone there the same as they treated me. Of course the pizza and garlic bread were amazing. This place is a Wausau landmark for a reason. “We had read that this place could be busy, so we chose to go a bit later in the evening and were seated immediately. The waiter wasn't super outgoing, but he was polite and actually became quite talkative when we took the initiative. They had excellent vegetarian meals with some real effort from the chef. Indoor vibe was fun with bikes hanging from the ceiling. The patio also looked nice with flowers and hanging lights.“

“I was told to try day break for a good fish fry by a friend as i have struggled to find a good fish fry that reminds me of home with good fresh portions of perch walleye,and white fish. Most places here serve cod which I'm not crazy about. Iv come to the conclusion after trying 7 spots in wausau that central wisconsin doesn't have the resources for the fry I'm used to back in Michigan. The people here were wonderful, that goes for the service as well as the guests inside promoting a nice atmosphere. ?“

“The food and service was excellent. We had the pad thai with chicken. The portions were huge. You do not leave hungry. What made it even more incredible was that someone anonymously paid for our dinner. Thank you, Whoever you are! Your generosity was over the top. “2nd visit. It was a quite night, the staff informed us that was due to ”spring break”. This restaurant has a warm, fun atmosphere. We were given a “tour” of the two main floor dining rooms and learned about the history of the building and Wausau itself buy the pictures hanging on the walls. The staff was attentive. Extensive wine list, bartender gave a quick lesson of Gins (differences between London dry and botanical) to one of our guests. With spring around the corner, I enjoyed the zucchini pasta.“

“Personally, I don't mind that food and place there and it's not my top favorite for Chinese restaurants but it's not terrible either. Yes, you most likely will be waiting for a while for pickup but that gives you time to do some other things in the mean time. The food on the other hand is alright, but it's harder for me to pick out a lot of different things every time so I normally stick with the same dish when ordering. Other than those, dining is fairly comfortable because of how nice the place looks and how well it fits all together

Parking: If the place is busy then parking can be harder, and if for some reason a family is diving in more then one vehicle then parking can come off more harder then normal“
