“Heavenly meal, perfect service & wonderful ambience. Celebrated 25 yr. wedding anniversary. Staff was wonderful and tasteful in acknowledging our event. Even ran into Milwaukee Brewer Christian Yelich who graciously took a picture w/my wife. Immediately shared it w/my son who's a fan and attending school in AZ. Intend to celebrate there next yr.“
“We used the valet, walked in, and were greeted quickly by the hostess. The downstairs was full on a Friday night so they seated us upstairs. I preferred this because it was quieter and felt more relaxed. The pepperjack mac and cheese was really good, but came out a bit cold. Steak was cooked properly, but was pretty tough for a filet. Served and runner were both polite and not overly conversational, which I appreciated.“
“Our first time at a Wisconsin supper club/steakhouse. Kristi was an ABSOLUTELY fantastic server. She greeted us within seconds and explained how everything worked there. We started off with two delicious cocktails, two seafood apps, and the fantastic salad, homemade dressings, bread, & relish tray! My partner and I shared a porterhouse (there is a $12 plate fee which was fine for us and the server did mention it in case that would be a hindrance to someone) and we added bleu cheese to it. The medium rare steak with the crusty outside was absolutely perfect. We finished the meal with another round of delicious cocktails & a complimentary piece of key lime pie for our anniversary. I loved the vibes of the place and as we walked out there was live music. I also appreciate that the GM (an assumption) stopped by to check on us. I truly cannot wait to get back to town so we can dine here again- it was a fantastic end to our vacation.“
“The manager was great she was so nice she made sure my order was correct she was very polite attentive and she actually cared about me as a customer it was march 21 at 10:08pmParking: It’s a strip so you just pull up and park right outside the store“
“The food is delicious. I’ve been here three times now. My favorite are the lamb chops. Service was great atmosphere was good a little more adequate for my taste. You don’t really feel comfortable having conversations because you tend to wanna be quiet in this kind of atmosphere which is not bad depending on what you’re going for And most importantly who you’re going with.It is a little pricey, but not too bad, considering how great the food is but the drinks are definitely overpriced and water down.“
“Unfortunately prices have increased…. a 6oz tenderloin has increased over 35%…PLUS a 3.5% service charge! We've been coming here for years and are disappointed in the changes. Unfortunately we will not return. There are plenty of other steakhouses equal toMilwaukee steakhouse. Sad.“
“Three of us dined at the restaurant recently with an out-of-town visitor. Our server was very good and recommended wines that matched with our dishes well, but the service was a bit slow probably because the restaurant was quite full. The menu is large, and there are quite a few choices other than steaks despite its reputation as a steak house. I ordered Hudson Canyon Seared Scallops as my main course; the dish was quite flavorful, although the scallops were not as tender as those that I had at other restaurants in town. I also ordered the Seafood Gumbo soup and found the soup to be better than most outside those I had in New Orleans. The restaurant has a fine dining setup, and the price certainly reflects that. The quality of food is good but nothing amazing. As a hotel restaurant, it needs to have the capacity to serve a large number of customers when holding events, likely requiring standardization and limiting room for innovation. So, for the same price or a little less, one can find better-quality food elsewhere in Milwaukee based on my view.“
“Great atmosphere with really solid food and drink for fair prices. Service was fine. They had a damn good live music setup too. The bar is definitely the right vibe.Fish fry was worth it. Especially the perch. Super light breading and fresh fry.“
“This was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. We started with the tuna tartar which was perfection. Then my husband got a steak and I got fish. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We decided to do the trio of sides to share. I highly recommend doing this as we got a hearty portion of each side and it was nice to be able to try a few options. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.“
“First time there. All in all a good experience. We started with the seafood sampler that was very good. We did the lobster bisque soup also very good. My wife had the 16 oz prime rib that she enjoyed. I ordered the next larger cut,24 oz. I like my prime rib rare. The cut I received looked awesome but was at best medium/med well done. They didn’t have any more rare prime rib and I had to substitute a ribeye. While it was good had my heart set on the prime rib. My wife had the cheese cake for dessert. Our server was awesome, friendly and helpful. My daughter and her husband love it there. Food, service, and atmosphere made it an enjoyable time.“
“Was looking for something to meet some friends at for dinner halfway between our houses and after looking at a few places, we chose this one. Was really happy we came. The server was very pleasant to talk to, and the food was good. Was excited to see they had broasted chicken here, because that's getting difficult to find in the area.“
“Tried this place for the first time for Easter Brunch. It was a buffet for $70/adult. The food was perfect - everything tasted wonderful and there was a nice selection. The service was great too - attentive & friendly. I'd definitely try this for regular dining but I'll also be looking to come back for a brunch.“
“Rare is one of my favorite places to eat in mke. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff really make the experience. There’s so many little touches rare does that you get to experience at each dinner. 10/10 would recommend for a nice dinner or even bar food and a drink.“
“Had a really nice time for Valentines day weekend dinner. Foods and drinks are amazing. The gentleman on the piano makes atmosphere great. Hostess & Staff were polite and come to the table to make sure you need anything. Absolutely going back!“

“I had the pleasure of a Steakhouse 100 cod fish fry take-out last night. It was scrumptious! Plenty of food, big portions. The fish was fried perfectly, potato pancakes to die for and, oil and vinegar based coleslaw. Also, salted, marbled rye bread, my favorite! Try it for yourselves; you’ll love it!! Margie“
“The place always seems busy. But decided to finally try it out. I've been to other Texas Roadhouses before. The rolls are definitely delicious with their sweet butter spread.I got the 18oz Ribeye, medium Well, and it came out just the way I wanted it.The manager was going around and talking to everyone and the server was very helpful. As a chain steak place this is pretty good. Nothing game changing here for their steaks. But if you just want a steak and catch up with a friend or something, this would be a great spot to go to.“
“My only negative with Longhorn was the host wasn’t very friendly or accommodating. Once we got past him, our experience was overwhelmingly positive. We ordered two appetizers: mushrooms and spinach dip. The mushrooms were exceptional. 5/5. The spinach dip was okay but nothing to write home about 3/5Our group ordered mostly steaks although my wife ordered the Parmesan chicken with ribs. My ribeye was perfect. 5/5 Her chicken was good but I didn’t try the ribs. The bones slid out so at minimum they were overcooked. Our server Keegan was exceptional, attentive and friendly. 5/6“
“We arrived ahead of our reservation at Dobie's, and were greeted warmly by the hostess. We headed to the bar and enjoyed drinks and conversation with the bartender. Cocktails were quite tasty as my wife enjoyed the peach wine, and I had their muddled brandy Old Fashioned sweet. As we moved to our table, we were greeted by our server, and we enjoyed the relish tray (a nice extra) and the fried mushrooms as appetizers. The potato soup was rich and delicious! My wife ordered tenderloin rare and lobster tail. Both were cooked to perfection! The garlic mashed potatoes were also delicious! I ordered the lobster stuffed salmon which was also equally amazing, and the potato planks were absolutely wonderful! We ended the evening with a grasshopper which was a great way to end our time at Dobie's! The service, food and atmosphere of the place created an excellent experience not to mention we heard "Happy Birthday" sung in Polish and that type of local attention is hard to find anywhere!!“
