“I have mixed feelings. It was Easter "Saturday" in the mid-afternoon and the place was packed. Instead of waiting an hour for a table our party went to the bar area. While Nancy the bartender was sweet and tried her best to care for everyone as best as possible, she was overwhelmed. Management did not seem to be present to support and the service was slower than it needed to be. We were pressed to take my sister to the airport and shared this up front and while they put in the appetizers, forgot to put in our main order. We waited for over an hour. Right when we were literally about to get up and "call the audible" to leave, management brought our food out. We took a few bites (of which it was fresh and well seasoned) but had to pack it up and leave. Again Nancy was great and food was fresh but it was painful to see the bartender struggle unnecessarily when there appeared to be plenty of staff that could have delivered a better sense of urgency to provide collaborative support.“
“Service was good, food was great, drinks/food pricey but as expected, comfortable atmosphere! Recommend to anybody traveling through looking for a great steakhouse. The bar area was very comfortable for anybody not wanting to dress up fancy. Stop by and give it a try!“
“I enjoyed the Escargot, Oyster Rockefeller, three cheese potatoes, Mac and Cheese, an the cocktails. Steaks looked great and large enough to share. But the most important item was the bar service staff! They were amazing! I recommend anyone going!“
“Very good ambience, great customer service. Ordered rare plus bone in ribeye. Slight smell and coldness noted to the meat. Not to a point that I had to ask to remake the steak but enough for me to be slightly disappointed with the steakhouse signature menu. I ordered. Rare plus. Might be because of it ? But I ALWAYS order rare plus in all of my steak. No inside steak was cold. But I am very happy with the staff. I would return any time. It is a minor thing . Too bad they don't have draft beers on tap. That would have been perfect“
“I enjoy this restaurant. They have a great bar and make a wonderful old fashioned. Their oysters Rockefeller are out of this world. Best I have ever had and I’ve been to Antoine’s. Crispy chicken wasn’t. It was in a sauce and wasn’t special. Cheesecake Factory has better elote, and Jimmys hotdogs on Grand has better fries. We have had the steaks in the past and they are very good. Yesterday was like eating at a McDonalds playland. The couple seated after me saw where the host was going and said no, they wanted the remote room. I’ll remember that. You can at least have the adults in a quieter area. The service wasn’t great. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come and get the drink order. Not exaggerating. A group who came after us were served dinner before we got our appetizers. The host came over often but it seemed kind of odd. They couldn’t figure out how to give us separate checks. But I’ll go back and have oysters as an entree or a steak.“
“I dined here with a buddy of mine last week. The food was great and the quality was amazing! Nice cuts of steak. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was very welcoming and responsive to our needs. The lady who served us also had a cool personality and making sure we had everything we needed. The service is just as important as the food and they did very well so thank you so much!“
“My husband and I went here for Valentine's day and had a very enjoyable meal! The shrimp appetizer was outstanding and my steak was great. Drinks were good. My husband ordered the tiramisu which was tasty but was quite small for the price. The tables were a little too close for comfort in the one room. Hope to come back and eat in the other room where it seemed the tables were spaced out a little more.We came here on a recommendation and was not disappointed.“
“Have been here many times. One of my go to! I love the quality of the food for the price can never go wrong ?.I had got the Ribeye with the coconut shrimp and Loaded baked potato .Mac & Cheese was a hit . Free parking good deals cheap drinks ?“
“A Culinary Masterpiece: Exquisite Beef WellingtonI recently had the pleasure of experiencing the epitome of culinary excellence at shallots. Words can hardly encapsulate the divine delight that was their Beef Wellington. As a seasoned food enthusiast, I've traversed the (kosher) gastronomic landscape far and wide, yet never have I encountered a dish as sublime as this. From the moment the plate graced our table, it was evident that this was no ordinary Beef Wellington. The golden-brown pastry shell, flawlessly crimped and glistening, hinted at the delectable treasure hidden within.Upon slicing through the delicate crust, I was met with a succulent medley of flavors. The tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef, perfectly cooked to medium-rare perfection, nestled amidst a symphony of earthy mushrooms and rich, aromatic duxelles. Each bite was a harmonious fusion of textures and tastes, leaving me utterly spellbound. But what truly elevated this Beef Wellington to legendary status was the chef's meticulous attention to detail. Every component was executed with precision and finesse, culminating in a culinary masterpiece that transcended mere sustenance. As I savored each exquisite morsel, I couldn't help but marvel at the chef's ingenuity and dedication. This was not just a meal; it was an experience—an unforgettable journey through the realms of taste and indulgence. To the chef behind this culinary triumph, I extend my sincerest gratitude. You have not only created the best Beef Wellington I've ever had the pleasure of tasting, but you have also crafted one of the top five dishes I've ever been served. Tonight, you should go home with your head held high, knowing that you have left an indelible mark on my palate and heart alike.“
“For a chain steakhouse, the food was still really good, though the margarita was a bit on the harsh side. The food was well seasoned, and cooked to my requested level, with good sides. The service was a little slow, but the server was friendly. I would say that for a nice steakhouse, it seemed a little noisy.“
“The best “fish fry” that we’ve experienced thus far in downtown Elmhurst or possibly all of Chicago!!! Why do you ask? The owner / management team (Dominic Ranieri & Nicolette Ranieri) aims to please by offering the true and proper “haddock and chips”! The batter is perfectly proportionate to the size of the fillet and not greasy. Then comes one of the best old fashions we’ve had. Why? Their amazing bartender, Evey, knows exactly how we prefer them and she never disappoints. Last, but certainly not least, the service is always impeccable from our most favorite waitress, @Alisandra Mondrella! She’s prompt, professional, and always with a smile! Thank you again for the first class experience!!!“
“Special occasions are even more special at Ruth's Chris! Top notch food and service! We had an issue and arrived late with 97-year old mom' Liyah went above and beyond and seated us in the private "Wine Room"! Martini was a great waiter, too!“
“I have never been to Longhorn Steakhouse. The food was good. Everything was cooked perfect and our service was on point for the restaurant being busy.Parking: Normal parking lot for this type of place. Plenty of spots when we went.Kid-friendliness: Family style environment“

“I stopped by this outback location while to have lunch while waiting for my hotel room to be ready as this restaurant is attached to a Springhill Suites by Marriott. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm and it wasn't busy, so there was no wait to be seated. Ordered the wings (hot) with blue cheese dressing and a house salad. The wings that I received weren't the hot ones as ordered and they gave me their ranch dressing that comes standard with the wings. I kept the order they sent me and was satisfied. Other than the mishap in attention to detail in my order the food was good, and so was the service.“
“Had reservations for a Saturday night, the place was PACKED. The Server said they weren't expecting the volume they had and were short staffed. She made up for it. Hustled, the entire staff was hustling. The food was excellent, steak was perfection. All phases of the meal were on point.Give this vintage restaurant a try. There's a reason it's still there after all these years.“
“No Soup for You!!!! Had dinner at Jameson's last night (3-16-2024). My spouse does not eat dairy. A soup was offered for her meal. Both choices had dairy ingredients. When asked to substitute a salad, we were informed it would cost 3.00. So, no soup for spouse, no salad for spouse. No credit on check for no soup. My wife is not the only person who does not eat dairy. Restaurant showed no flexibiity. While food and service were OK, we will not be back to Jameson's due to their policy. We had been semi-regular patrons, but, no more. The restaurant should offer a soup selection without dairy! Sorry Jameson's you've lost a customer. Your new policy of not substituting something for what a patron can not eat has turned us away.“
“It's been years since we have been to Texas de Brazil, and what a great experience we had from the hostess, waiter and food. The service was great and our waiter, Jesus, was absolutely fabulous. The food was so delicious, and of course I had to make room for the banana foster...Super Yummy!!Kid-friendliness: I love the fact they bring out fries as a starter.“
“Awesome steakhouse in Rivers casino! We love Gibson's/Hugo's downtown, so it's always fun to go to this location at the casino. Steak, salads, cocktails, wine, desserts, all amazing! Service is great and the manager always seems to be around and checking in with tables. Always a fantastic experience“
