“I love love love the fish, however if it's a pickup/to-go order you should think about wrapping the cakes/fries/ or whatever the choices are separately from the fish, aluminum strips goes a long way to be the fish from getting soggy with having to sit on top of the sides. Food was fresh but when I got to work the fish was already wet and soggy, still very good, maybe next time I'll just ask for extra extra crispy and it'll get me more time. Just a suggestion that's all otherwise overall great place with me living in south mil and I have never heard of this place and all I did was ask Google maps for the best fish fry near me and thus is what came up so knowing me I wanted to try it. Most definitely going to have again and recommend to everyone who loves fish.“

“Im going to need a bigger box! This place is perfect for game days! We went 3x this 2025 season. We go a little early to ensure parking. Pay $20 to park and they take $20 off yr food bill inside. We relax and enjoy for an hour or so then take their busses to amfam for drop off and pick up. Safe, fun, free (please tip yr driver!) Never had an easier time! So seamless, convenient, fun. The staff is great, the food is great bar food. If you need a ride and don't want all the walking, driving, parking hassles, take advantage of their offer. I will never go to a game again without going to KBs for my pregame fun! Oh and the pretzel...its deelish and I don't think im exaggerating if I say its bigger than a bread box!“

“Was never to Oscars before. I didn't expect that I'd be eating the greatest burger I've had in my Life. Meat was thick and juicy. Bun was clean and soft. Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. “My hubby did a pickup order and wow, we were impressed! Pickup fish fry isn’t usually something we do (thanks kidney stones for ruining our night) because it gets soggy but tonight we had to and it was really good. They packaged everything separately so the tartar and the slaw weren’t warm sitting in the container with the hot food, I had the combination platter and the package the baked cod in a separate soup container which was great. My husband had the blue gill and really enjoyed them as did our 5 year old. The food was all really delicious and I can’t wait to dine in next time. My husband said while he had a beer at the bar while he waited for our food all of the employees were friendly and pleasant.“

Today, I finally had the chance to step into Jerseys Pub and Grill for my first official Fish Fry Lunch of Lent 2025! It's located at 4024 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, and let me tell you – I’ve passed by this place countless times, but today, I finally got to experience it! What a hidden gem it turned out to be!
It all started when I met the owner, who just so happens to have a son at the same elementary school as my own. That’s when I discovered their Friday Fish Fry – a perfect addition to my Fish Fry Bucket List.
Now, let's dive into the mouthwatering menu options they offer on Fridays:
* Cod Fish Fry: Freshly cut lemon wedge, slaw, rye bread, and your choice of fries, potato wedges, or tater tots, all for $13.
* Fish Sandwich: Served with your choice of potato for $10.
* Shrimp Tacos: A flavorful delight for $9.50.
* Fish Tacos: Tasty and satisfying for $9.50.
* Shrimp Basket: Perfect for seafood lovers at $11.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner’s warm and friendly demeanor – she made me feel right at home. Her impeccable service really set the tone for the whole experience.
As for the food – WOW! I was served three generously-sized pieces of cod, perfectly battered with just the right amount of crispiness, yet not oily at all (huge win!). I went with the potato wedges, and they were on point – golden brown, crispy on the outside, and warm & fluffy on the inside. The slaw wasn’t the creamy type I usually prefer, but it had a delightful, crisp flavor that paired perfectly with everything else.
All in all, this was a fantastic Fish Fry Lunch that I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving something new! Another Milwaukee gem to add to your list.“

“Exactly what you expect of a local bar. Friendly staff and customers. The food was the highlight. The burger was seasoned like we put it on the grill at home and huge. The cheese curds were plentiful and delicious. This establishment was busy when all the surrounding ones were dead. “my first time went there had a nice experience we came there from being at the theater downtown as a friend of mines said the place was known for their wings we order she order wings n I order like 12 plus sides which was nice size like the Buffalo wings went there yesterday 1/18/23 for a live music venue with Christopher project which was held upstairs nice older professional crowd setting after work I order a lemon drop martini which taste like sugar water for the $15 I was very disappointed n was served in a cocktail glass not a martini glass .. we were seated up close for the live performance which was nice .. myself n guests all order food at the same time it took like over 40 mins for my food to come asx2nd time here : the food menu had change with more options I order the Buffalo chicken egg rolls n the cheeseburger egg rolls with 6 pc garlic parmesan wings the wings this time was smaller like party wings n was cold n the egg rolls was terrible the waitress said the cook dieon was by himself which made the delay for our food I was offor a free drink however for me n my guest n the money we spent as the establishment is nice but this situation alter my experience as I was very disappointed this 2nd time around I'm hoping this could change“

“A bar and grill sitting right before you jump into the interstae and right across Mitchell International Airport. Great place on Sundays to watch the Packers. They have a buffet for fans to gourmandize on. The chicken fried steak special is very delicious. Bernie, the bartender, is very friendly as local patrons like Al. Great convos spark here easily. They do have a wraparound deck to enjoy the summer time.“

“It has been a few years since we had stopped in due to food quality and service. We were in the area Saturday night and decided to stop in a for a couple drinks and appetizers. We were immediately welcomed at the door and grabbed a seat at the bar. Eric, the Bartender, welcomed us right away and chatted with us about the Brewer win. Drinks were cold, apps were great and Eric was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was fantastic! We will definitely make this part of our regular rotation of stops!
