“Who remembers Ferch's in Greendale? (Raises hand!) Honestly, service there was a bit of a nightmare, but after a few years of coming to Ferch's Beachside Grille at the Beach at Grant Park, I'm a fan! - Burgers, fish fry, good french fries - Great craft beer selection and Tap Takeovers - Designated table and picnic benches - Live music on some nights - Service isn't half bad You really can't go wrong with a burger & fries, and I always get a beer here, and the selection of local craft is good! Beach views can't be beat! I like meeting my parents here (who love a good burger), or biking in from Sheridan Park to treat myself. I spent many a day as a teen at this beach, and really could've used this Grille back then!“

“It is a landmark and a place that folks should visit. The lines are long but they move quickly. I have had plenty of frozen custard and, in my opinion, the custard is good but not anything I would go out of my way for. Definitely visit if you haven't though!“

“I love this place. Last time I came with my daughter and the service was exceptional - so friendly and thoughtful. They have a lot of interesting flavors and everything I've tried has been delicious. The kids love the purple moon - it's so good! The pints are usually the common flavors but with enough looking around you can usually find some of the more esoteric ones. I have yet to try garlic but I hope to someday! I love that they use local ingredients - wish I could find more about that on their site. Other than that, parking is usually a bit tight, but not awful. I've never had to walk more than a block and a half. If love good food but you've never been here, make it a priority.“

“We LOVE this place. We would park near the lake and walk here. On our walk back to the car, my dog would constantly try to turn around and go back for more?Never fails. I’ve had to carry him through intersections so he doesn’t stop! They have cute photo ops for each season. They also have taste samples for those who have a picky dog like mine. “I absolutely LOVE their ice cream but holy moly their food is SOOOO expensive. They recently added mac n cheese to their menu, 6.50$??!!!!! For like 5 bites of watered down, no flavor Mac n cheese. They suggest add ons on the menu but don’t mention the 2$ extra fee. I got added onion, bacon & ranch & they gave me 3 hamster size pieces of bacon lol. Was disappointed considering their ice cream is my favorite.“

“Oh. My. Goodness. This is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Flavors that you would never think of. I had the coffee and the queso. I've been on a coffee ice cream kick lately and this one is amazing. The queso is made with cream cheese, which makes it rich. The cream cheese is balanced right, not strong but the right amount to make it really interesting. I'm going back again before I leave. I've got to try the cucumber ice cream.“

“I have driven to random places, asked random people on the streets , where I could get the perfect most authentic taco. After 6 months of searching tosa and milwaukee, I finally found it. Their tacos are fresh , meat super flavorful and their green sauce is spicy enough to make you sweat.“

“After having a long, stressful, productive day, I came in last night for a gyro, and the front desk cashier was a gentleman and was very kind to me. The cook greeted me with a smile and wave and made me feel welcome! Lastly, the gyro was by far the best I've had in a long time, and it had so much lamb I even shared some with my dogs ?
