Although they were very busy tonight, Wednesday, I chose to wait for my two quarts of Jamoca Ice Cream I wanted to purchase for my kids. There were several people ahead of me who had already ordered and were waiting patiently. Two people behind the counter were working diligently to fill the orders. They were finishing up when in walked a man carrying a box and walked behind the counter as if he ‘owned the place’?He happened to be the owner. He also came in with his two young children dressed in pajamas! He surveyed the scene and asked if I was next and i said yes…. Instead of waiting longer, he jumped right in (obviously not having expected to work) told me he was going to wash his hands, came back and filled my order! Great product, greater service! “On my visit to Milwaukee, I was told I had to try Frozen Custard, and I had to try it from both Leon's and Kopp's... so I did, on the same afternoon!! At Leon's I had a triple dip (3 scoops) of their Butter Pecan ($4.50), and it was very very good... Better than the Boston Cream Pie Custard I had at Kopp's. I also liked the historic vintage feel of Leon's establishment over the more modern 'polished' vibe at the Kopp's venue. Do the taste test for yourselves and visit both establishments. A good excuse to eat more Frozen Custard.“

“I love frozen custard and as a recent transplant to the Midwest, I've been reveling in the opportunities to enjoy it more as it's not widely available on the East Coast. I was visiting Milwaukee for a day, and all the guides said you have to go to Kopp's! I got there in the mid-afternoon and it was busy; you can tell it's always busy. They have plenty of parking, some outdoor seating, and a bunch of cows in the back. Everyone there was working hard. I ended up just ordering a basic vanilla cone (you can't go wrong with vanilla) and the person at the register charged me for a small but gave me a medium. Maybe they felt badly that the couple in front of me cut me in line? I don't know but it was worth the extra trip away from downtown to try the historic Kopp's.“
“I come to this crumbl at least once a week. The staff is always friendly, greeting you with a “hello, welcome to crumbl!” Recently I went to a different location in Milwaukee and was disappointed I didn’t get the same welcome. I’ve come to really enjoy it. They always have multiple employees working and are VERY quick to get orders out. Even if they have to frost and top cookies, I’ve only waited a max of 5 mins for my order. The store spotless and you can tell each employee cares about their work. I have seen other locations online make terrible cookies that don’t look like the pictures. This location ALWAYS has their cookies coming out BETTER than the pictures advertised. I’ll keep coming back to enjoy the new flavors every week. And a huge thanks to the staff for always being on top of it!“

The shop has such a delightful vibe…the space is considerably larger than I thought it would be, which is so nice because there’s plenty of room to move around while you shop and allow your dog space to do the same. There are oodles of quality treats, chews, and clever dog toys and accessories to choose from. A few weeks ago, I picked up a Woof Pupsicle and Wellness Pops for my dog, and this week I snagged some salmon doggy ice cream to go!“
“Visited Milwaukee and wanted to try a good burger. This was probably the best one we tried! We tried another Kopp's in Brookfield and it was dry and very underwhelming! It was nothing like the one at this location. Service is fairly quick and the ambiance is busy and packed because it's that good!“
“Pete’s Pops served their amazing popsicles at our wedding on 9.24.22 and it was A HIT! They set up their super cute stand and even made a fun sign with our names on it and flavors! Everyone loved it! Alyssa at Pete’s Pops was awesome to work with and was super nice! We also love seeing Pete’s at the South Shore Farmer’s Market and stopping by their Bay View location, the cookies and cream pop is my favorite (legit has an Oreo in the middle)!“

“Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Has the vintage restaurant feel and is a great location close to Lime Kiln Park as well as the main Village Park. However, because of this the low amount of seating hurts them in the summer time so I don’t recommend staying during dinner rush.“

“A friends always goes in to get the order, inside does not have much seating area but there is a large parking lot, most people take to go I'm assuming. JUMBO burgers! I've had Murfs twice now and each time the burgers did not disappoint! Meat was cooked nicely and was juicy! Only complaint was that the bottom buns got soggy towards the end but that's with most burgers that can't even compare in size so I'll give a pass lol. The cheese curds are breaded very nicely! I personally was not a fan of the cheese used it was a bit rubbery but the taste is still good. The custard was gooooood didn't melt quickly either. I am ashamed to say I only ordered custard once but trust I will be back to try a shake! Prices are reasonable too for the portions and quality.“

“The BEST frozen yogurt in the world. I have always loved Fro-yo and as stores began to disappear my heart was a little bit shattered. Though, when I finally discovered Smart Cow and their little Gem of a location I could not be happier. They always have such great flavors, with every type of profile you could imagine. Though, they do change things out frequently which is nice! I love that their toppings have a large range of options, and they even have real cake batter, or cookie dough to top off your bowl with! Friendly staff, and enjoyable kid friendly atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Super great for people with allergies, nothing meat related happening here.“
“Desi Market opened up! Hooray!! I went in to check it out and found a wall of coolers full of Indian food and multiple isles filled with nice looking Indian groceries. The guy at the counter made me feel right at home and left me to slowly look at every isle.I got yummy layered mango jelly candy, coffee flavored cookies (great value) and a bag of crispy filled rounds. Each was unique and really good, and reasonably priced!Next time I'll be looking for some frozen Parantha Aloo, flatbread with potato stuff inside. I know it's within those coolers!“
“Ordered a 4-pack. It seems I got there at a busy time, with 5-6 other orders being filled ahead of mine and only two gals working (but working pretty diligently!). After I was waiting about 7 minutes or so, we were informed that those of us waiting on one of my selected flavors would have about a 20 minute wait for more to be baked, or we could select a different flavor. My backup flavor ... sold out during the time that I was in the store waiting for my order! Fortunately my order already had one of those placed in my box, or it would have been really disappointing to have to skip two flavors. I did substitute with something else for the brownie cookie just because I had people and groceries waiting in the car and couldn't hang out for 20 minutes. We've only sampled two of the flavors so far but they have both been really yummy! It might be nice to have a few benches or chairs in the shop for customers while they are waiting, especially for anyone with a mobility/medical issue.“

“My company placed a very large order with this location and then disaster struck! The order was delivered by DoorDash and the driver ended up DROPPING the entire order right outside of our doors, and NOT SAYING ANYTHING! I called the store and spoke to L and I was greeted with empathy and a quick solution. I was able to pick up an entire replacement for the order, and the entire team went above and beyond. “Met my book club for dinner on a week night. Ordered the Blackberry turkey sub sandwich, which was very tasty. I ordered the smaller size listed, and it indeed was small. I'm glad I wasn't too hungry that evening. I thought the price was on the higher end for the amount of sandwich. You go to the counter to place your order and are given a ticket with a number. When your number is called, you go to the pick-up counter to get your food. The young staff seemed to be having a fun time behind the counter, but since this is a casual atmosphere for families, it didn't bother me. If I had young children or grandchildren, I would stop in for an ice cream treat, which seems to be the fun part of being there.“
“Oh. My. Goodness. This is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Flavors that you would never think of. I had the coffee and the queso. I've been on a coffee ice cream kick lately and this one is amazing. The queso is made with cream cheese, which makes it rich. The cream cheese is balanced right, not strong but the right amount to make it really interesting. I'm going back again before I leave. I've got to try the cucumber ice cream.“

“Once you get over the fact that it's called Nite Owl but closes in the mid-afternoon, the fact that they're only open seasonally, the fact that they are cash-only, the fact that the cute retro dining room is usually closed, and the fact that the fries are some kind of terrible Ore-Ida-adjacent crinkles, you free your mind up for what is still the absolute best burger in all of Milwaukee. I don't know what they do to make the beef. I don't know where they get it or how they chop it or season it, but whatever they do, it is mind-bendingly good. Add grilled onions for good measure. I have made an annual pilgrimage with a friend to this place and we are never disappointed by the burgers. I recommend driving across the street to eat in you car from the airport observation lot, where you can watch planes take off and land.“
