“Great local pub in an exterior structure that probably dates back to approximately the late 1800s with wonderfully preserved interior features that match. They had a nice selection of beers & good service (cash only). This is a excellent place to stop to refresh & rehydrate after an afternoon of checking out the other beautiful downtown businesses.“

“On the smaller side. They have friendly service, a pool table, juke box, pizza and snacks. It is kind of a general bar not very modern, you won't be getting any Martini's or fruity drinks at this cozy hole in the wall. But a nice place to go.“

“We just discovered this bar this year. It is clean, nicely set up and full of fun games. They allowed us to order food from the Shop across the street and eat in here. They were so nice about it we came back a week later with a group of 11 and all ate Shop food and played games and drank here. They do have pizza n snacks on site. Someone won over $400 on slot machine while we were there. It was a fun bar.“

“Just watched Larry on tv. (If u don't know who he is he travels all over the world and enjoys experiences) He was riding with the Hells Angels. I noticed he had one of ur shirts on. So I thought I'd look u up and check u out. I'll have to stop by one day.“

“My husband and I were in Shell lake for the weekend. Raes Bar and Grill is located across from our hotel. My husband had cajun style alligator bites, fried walleye and a brandy old fashioned, and he said he would order it all again. I had Buffalo wings and chicken bacon ranch wrap with homemade French fries and I would order it again. Everything was great. Our bartender Arri was great and answered all the questions we had. We didn't get the other bartenders name but he was great also. We will definitely be go back.“
