It's not expensive, the portion sizes aren't insane, and it's usually light, tastes good, fresh, and right next to the zoo. I would say this is one of my most favorite restaurants that I've visited so far in Madison, as someone who doesn't go to sit-down restaurants a lot. The cooks here are really good, and I think that has to do with the size of the menu. The quality you get here is like, more value for your buck than most of the casual food places I've been in this city. I recommend this place. The atmosphere outside is okay, considering its right next to an intersection, it can be variable. It looks alright inside. The service is alright.“

“Wow. My husband and I have been coming here for quite a few months now, and everything about this place is incredible. All of the employees are so knowledgeable about dosage, and will give you honest, helpful advice if you’re unsure. The location is always spotless, and the game options are so much fun. I hate mentioning Bingo here as I want to gatekeep it, but Bingo on Wednesdays is INCREDIBLE. All of the employees here are passionate and excited to be there. After a few visits, they start feeling more like friends, and soon, family. They all seem to truly love their job, and it makes us LOVE coming here. We will never try another edible dispensary, as their energy and vibe make it unforgettable. This place has made a lasting impact on me and my husband, and I promise you won’t regret it!!“

“I am here from out of town. I had a break between engagements and the weather required I go get a chai and just be still for a bit. The staff were so pleasant. My chai was perfect. I hung out in a comfy chair for a little over an hour and had to go back for another drink. It was also surprisingly large. I had to force eat the last few fork fulls of it because I was full, but didn't want to waste what was left. (This was post-workout too!)The smoothie hit the spot. Its flavor was very sweet & distinct. Not quite apple, but not overwhelmed by the banana or spinach either which was refreshing for a smoothie with those ingredients. Calm atmosphere. Was busy with a long line, but still relaxing place with atmospheric music playing in the background. Friendly & efficient staff. “Authentic Somali Taste and Great Hospitality in Madison!
I visited Brothers Café Restaurant in Madison and had an amazing experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and 100% halal. I enjoyed the goat rice (bariis iyo hilib ari) — perfectly cooked and full of taste. The Somali tea (shaah) was smooth and rich, just like home.

The restaurant is clean, Somali-owned, and very welcoming. It has comfortable seating, a TV for entertainment, and even a restroom that’s clean and wheelchair accessible — showing they really care about all customers.

If you want real Somali sambusas, tea, and traditional food, this is the best place to visit in Madison. Highly recommended!

“Jane's is a funky little cafe & bakery. Surrounded by art from local artists. Open only till 3 in the after noon it's mostly breakfast and lunch. Counter served multi-cuisine fare that's fresh and family friendly. Their signature scones and pasteries are to die for with flavors you won't see anywhere else. Also great for Vegans and Vegetarians.“
