“Updating my review because this restaurant saved my life during the lockdown. They are fast, always get my orders right, and have some really delicious things on the menu. I think my experience below was uncommon. Their egg drop soup is delicious, their fried rice and noodle dishes are flavorful and delicious. They put a lot of pork and chicken into the dishes if you order one of those. Maybe don't get shrimp, but do eat here!Ordered the Mongolian shrimp and got literally 6 shrimp and a bunch of onions. Don't get shrimp from them; it's a rude rip-off. That is not Mongolian shrimp, even by low American standards.“

“Very good American Chinese with large portions. Nice staff. Very pleasant. Meat in dishes is not fatty and is tender. Vegetables are fresh and cooked nicely. The coupons are a great deal when added to orders. We've been ordering form here since opening and have not been disappointed.“

“Found this gem on Google, can’t believe they have jianbing guozi ( a Chinese style savory crepe) , my absolute favorite , and they do such a great job making it so good, like what I had in China!
We ordered a few other dishes, everything came out amazing and the owners are just the kindest!!
Highly recommend!!“

“This is an awesome Chinese restaurant I really enjoyed most of the time going there when I lived in Madison for 2 and half years! Chef Johnny became a friend every time I went there for lunch or dinner with friends! The food is just so delicious with different varieties, excellent place! I still go there whenever I go visit Madison Wisconsin! Really recommend this place!“

“Incredible customer service. I had an issue with my order and they refunded everything, including the delivery fees, without hesitation. It was more than I asked for, but it shows they really care about their customers. The Egg Drop soup is great!I’ll be a returning customer for sure!“

“We had a department party for 17 people that we needed at 11:30am and they open at 11am. They went above and beyond for us. Food was phenomenal and the service was expectational. I am not able to put in words the gratitude I have for all they did. Thank you so much!!“

“For those living near Regent St, I definitely recommend giving this place a go. I always get their bento box for lunch once or twice a week, since it is delicious and has a big portion for its price (for me it is enough for 2 meals). Other than the bento box, their family-style Chinese food is also delicious. Great food, great service, and great location.“

“Everything I order is so delicious. I recently ordered the wonton soup and the sweet and sour chicken 2nd time. It still is so delicious. The only thing I changed is I said extra hot and spicy. The general Tso’s chicken and the sweet and sour chicken and the shrimp egg rolls are magnificent. I order once a week and sometimes twice. Great every time. Hot, fresh and quick. You can only order out from here.“

“Can’t say enough about the quiet, easy, lunch experience for a 83 birthday for a Japanese man who has international experience in Asian cuisine. Free appetizer comes with birthday lunch. He chose barbecued Short ribs with honey sauce and I had one of their 4 buns with a creamy custard center and flaky skin over soft bun. The Peking Duck was the reason we came and it was perfect. Tender duck carved and laid over lettuce with each slice offering the crispy crust so hard to get right while keeping the meat perfect. The platter was decorated with 8 double buns and accompanied by a gallon of savory duck soup with the bones, cabbage, greens, onions and seasoning perfect. I had beef with onions, rice, and shared the soup. The music and service were ideal. It took almost as long to choose from the extensive menu as it did to enjoy the meal.“

“’ve stopped by a few times now, and this place is a total winner! The lunch special is phenomenal—we’re talking generous portions, authentic flavors, and super speedy service. It’s the perfect spot if you want high-value Asian cuisine in a relaxed, counter-casual setting. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, I can't recommend it enough!“

“I don't have a sweet tooth, so their baked goods are irrelevant to me, and I've yet to try their entrees, so I'm no real judge of their menu - I'm here to sing the praises of the sticky rice wrapped in leaves (bamboo?) - It's the blandest thing that I find satisfying (And I enjoy the real hot Sichuan up Park St at Ichiban!) The bit of chicken, the soft peanuts, the subtle herbal flavor imparted to the rice by the leaf wrap - It's just good (The rice is certainly cooked in broth, verging on pudding, but it's not any sweeter than the rice alone might make it.) It's comfort food, and it will keep me coming back, especially at $4. Think medium/ large baked potato with butter or sour cream for an equivalent lipid-starch satisfaction.
(2 minutes each in the microwave if you carry them away cold.)“

“I took a gamble and it payed off.
They offered samples non-aggressively and they were actually good.
I tried both the orange chicken and the pepper chicken and rice for only like 12 bucks.
The food was delicious.
I prefer this food court.
I am still full hours later and very happy 😁“

“I love this place! The food is really good and the portions are huge. If you spend $15 or more on your order on their website you get free fried rice too which makes it even more worth the already pretty cheap price. The lady that normally works there seems really sweet and hardworking. I am really picky and have a lot of little requests and they are accommodated every time. My order has never been late. Sometimes they throw in an extra crabrangoon when I order them, or an extra eggroll, which is so nice of them. Lovely place.“

“This is a great takeout spot for chinese food. I've been getting food from here for years and they've maintained high quality the whole time. It's not super fancy and while there is some space for dine-in, the restaurant is mostly geared towards take-out. When they say 15 minutes in your text notification, they mean it. In all these years, I've only had to wait twice and they were absolutely slammed with customers both times. Usually my order is ready and waiting when I get there.“

“For Asian-American fare, I was pleased. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch. The breading wasn't overwhelming, the chicken ratio wasn't disappointing, and the sauce met expectations for consistency and flavor. It didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty. It included fried rice and vegetables. I was surprised an egg roll was added. I was too full to eat it, however. Food was plenty.
I did not check on the quality of the ingredients or whether this restaurant uses MSG, artificial colors or flavors, emulsifiers, preservatives, GMOs, or anything else.
I'm judging strictly from presentation, quantity, relative freshness, and flavor, and what you would expect for standard asian-american fare.“

“The amount and quality of food for the price is the best around. I get two dinner meals worth of food for the price of a cheap lunch. The soup is an added bonus.
The dishes are authentic Chinese, but more like a grab and go than a sit down restaurant. Perfect for when you're short on time.“

“Great local Chinese restaurant. My go-to for Chinese food. Wish they would bring back water chestnuts into their meals, though.“
