“Small town cafe with a big city taste! My wife had the Mac n cheese for her entree. Absolutely fabulous. Served in a cast iron skillet which added to presentation…but the taste…delicious. I had the burger. I was a little hesitant to order the burger as I’ve been disappointed by burgers so many times. But before I get to the burger let’s start with the fries. Cooked to perfection! Crispy, warm, and full of delicious French Fry flavor. Now the burger…you know how some places dress up a burger all over only to forget about the burger itself? Well that’s not what is happening here…the bun was great, the house sauce was great, the greens were crisp, the cheese was amazing, but the burger was so full of flavor and it was the star of the dish! That was a 5 star burger!! 🍔 Best I’ve had in Wisconsin since moving here 2 years ago. Job well done Driftless Cafe…well worth the hour drive here. Keep the flavors coming….till next time!!”

“We have been working on a josite near Viroqua for the past 3 weeks and have ate here almost every day for our lunch. The service and food have been outstanding. The wait staff have always been astronomical and fast. I commend the cooks for the delicious meal and quick service.”

“Had a Strawberry and a Ginger soda at Summers Tree Farm and the soda was GREAT. Ginger was strong, the way something with ginger in it should be.The strawberry was light and refreshing - as needed on a balmy 45 degree November day in Wisconsin requires. Keep using that cane sugar.”

“Was an old favorite of our group that rode motorcycles up in Wisconsin. They closed for a remodel and opened looking really nice. Food is still just as good as it was. Just going to miss the loaded biscuits and gravy. We will return again”
